great so so for this first talk um part of the plan for these first two talks the one I'm giving now and the one that Orie is goinging after this is to sort of overview some of the themes that come up as we think about behavioral models in the context of uh computational economic systems and so I want to sort of reach back over a number of uh papers I've been involved in that have Illustrated this theme including some um recent case studies that we've been looking at and so this idea of Behavioral agents in algorithmic environments and this is going to cover a number of projects with joint work with some you know fantastic uh colleagues listed here on the slide when I I think about algorithmic environments that we experience you know in some sense like all of most of what we do on the online world is mediated algorithmically right so when we you know consume movie recommendations it's because some algorithm has computed some feature Vector based on our past behavior and it's using that
