the funding that we receive from Blue Cross bu Shield is absolutely foundational to everything we do they've been with us from the very first day we're a very small paid staff and a huge volunteer staff we often see people that otherwise wouldn't receive care they fall through the cracks of our Healthcare System we serve adults um 18 years and older who are uninsured or underinsured we're able to provide them with direct Medical Care on the streets and they're also able to help them find other needs that we can't provide in our mobile clinic so it has been very helpful just to reduce stress level so that we can focus on the patient we've been able to do more referrals for patients to Specialty Physicians we've opened up a number of primary care visits uh been able to distribute more prescription drugs do more lab testing for our patients this funding allows us to see more people in our Medical Clinic uh see more people in our dental clinic as we integrate Behavioral Health into those S
