hello everybody and welcome to another episode of the sit rep you've got all three of us here today mike paul and jim and answering a question that we got via email uh what is tricare versus va healthcare what's the difference and this is something that i actually i don't know anything about tricare other than the fact that there's tricare that it exists but heard of it i know plenty about va healthcare but tricare uh i know nothing about and the first question i'm going to pose to the both of you can tricare and va be used together yes i mean tricare is just another health care option that service members get for retiring from from active duty or from national guard and reserve uh service um it's just like or it's similar to if you have blue cross blue shield or you know what have you so yes they can be used together jim i mean i know you you do it all the time yeah it's and you know you live in a rural place sometimes it benefits you to be able to go wherever you need to at your conv
