welcome to Ellen Hancock this is the Public Safety Training Center we are located just outside of Loke on approximately 80 acres Public Safety Training has been an integral part of Hancock College for the past 45 years for a public safety training which involves Emergency Medical Services fire and Law Enforcement Training over 50 years later we are strong we are relevant we are producing some of the best candidates in the state one of the Premier uh public safety training centers and all of the United States we're very fortunate that we have firefighters police officers custody deputies EMS paramedics all training in one facility together our EMS students we have state-of-the-art mannequins that they work on that will perform bodily function so it's the realistic training in an emergency room setting and a field setting that we utilize here at the complex it's our law enforcement recruits here get about as realistic training you can get in the safe environment in terms of responding to
