[Music] hi this is jay cho so this video i want to explain to you about when do we issue a claim claim against the apple driver claim against the dog's owner climb against the property owner who you tricked them fell or sorry slip and fell not tripped and fell so usually we i assess it at a one year mark at one year mark uh that's a good time because it's been a year we see how much you have recovered and we want to see do we have to do anything further any more assessment so at one year mark we either try to settle the file um and then if not then we issue a claim so when we issue a claim uh the limitation is two years so we usually wait until two years but these days uh we try to settle it at one year if not we wait until year and a half or two year marks initial claim now so what are the steps after uh after we show claim the first thing we have to do is the examination for discovery now examination for discovery is question and answer session we just meet with the defendant their l
