Also, charge them for free airtime for candidates to present their platform which would accrue until election year. That time and fine and pay would all be used to fund the campaign time.get rid of political campaigns. Each candidate would get the same number of free airtime to present their case and answer questions posed by opponents. This would be paid for by the fines and penalties against news networks and advertisers just like any other TV or Radio show. Everything would be fact-checked and liars and exaggerators would be called out and be disqualified. There would have to be a system in place so that not everyone who thought they were capable could run. Maybe an initial test on whether they understood the law? And so many signatures? That would be the biggest challenge. Or to have each political party decide which candidate to run. And independent could run with enough signatures.Candidates would have to present the full truth on their literature and websites. They would have to accurately reveal the problems with their opponent's platform.when a candidate makes a promise before an election, they would put a time frame on it. If they do not accomplish it in that time frame, they step down regardless of office. This would prevent them from making promises to get votes and would let voters know when to expect the results. The candidate should be able take opposition into account when making those promises. Candidates should tell how they intend to prevent the promises of one another.

Today I spoke to an IAS aspirant who is 25 years old whose family members are government employees so the conversation goes like this…Me: When is voting in your place?He : No ideaMe:Will you not vote?He: No most probably I will never vote entire my life..Me: How about your parents and sister?He: Dad might vote the rest will notThis shocked me as an Indian, these people need all the facilities from government and secured job as well, but don't want to cast vote because they are not interested in politics . I agree, it's a bit strange how this one works.I've paid personal property taxes on an aircraft (through my former employer).  In Los Angeles, essentially you fill out the Business Property Statement (Form 571-L) declaring the value of your business personal property (i.e. equipment, building, computers, vehicles, aircraft, etc.) and send submit it without paying a tax.  There are no rates which appear on this return.The county assessors perform the needed computations based upon a grouping of like fixed assets owned and based upon your declaration, then send you a bill.  I no longer have access to the invoices and related rates I used to pay on the aircraft, so the best I can do is suggest that you simply call or e-mail them.

Any reason for collecting is permissible (“In the event of a zombie apocalypse” is an acceptable reason).Where you live determines your ability to own a gun in the same state.Telling victims of home invasion they are to be arrested and treated as criminals because of the property someone else took from them.Being so concerned about privacy rights that you demand any would-be gun owner waive their HIPAA rights for life to make sure they aren’t “dangerous”.Declaring 18 through 20 year olds children and barring them from exercising their right to own a gun. But that’s the only right they are too immature or unable to exercise as a legal adult at those ages.Compiling lists of guns and gun owners in the utterly illogical belief that a couple pieces of paper solves crimes.Banning the publication of computer code or plans for firearms that are freely available in printed form without restriction. Hating two parts of the Bill of Rights is pretty impressive stuff.Demand that we have noise dampening devices on vehicles and hearing protection on around machinery that can damage hearing in an instant as a public safety measure but regulate the same for firearms to the point it takes 9–10 months and Federal and State permission to own. And not all states will allow you to protect your hearing.Requiring a person to be fingerprinted, photographed and provide a background check and at least two days of training at their own expense and submit the application within 3 days for a license to allow them to apply to purchase a handgun. It is not a “permit-to-possess” but merely a permission slip to fill out a form.Declaring that items meant to safely hold a firearm in order to use it are too dangerous to have fitted to a gun.Buttons are verboten.Changing the color or finish on a gun makes it illegal to sell as “unsafe”.Declaring any semi-automatic rifle an “assault rifle” regardless of age, caliber or feed type.Declaring a Marlin or equivalent tube-fed .22LR semi-auto rifle an “assault weapon”.Allowing anyone via hearsay to claim someone is suspicious or may have violent tendencies and have their guns taken away from them without Due Process.I can go on. And on and on. All strange and ones I could have never come up with on my own.Note for the Irony Challenged: Every single item on this list is an actual law or regulation in force today somewhere in the United States.

The law inside a gun show is exactly the same outside a gun show.Virtually all of the tables with guns on them for sale at a show are licensed dealers. They are FFLs. A gun show is simply a mobile storefront for them. But the same rules for sale at a show are the same as if you walked into a brick-and-mortar shop.There are private sellers at gun shows. It is legal to dispose of personal firearms in accordance with State and Federal law. This is where the whole “universal background checks” (UBC) conversation starts. UBCs are the so-called “gun show loophole” repackaged. It is the idea that a person selling their guns without government oversight is so offensive that must be stopped and monitored.But gun shows have nothing to do with it. It is up to the state to decide how to regulate private sales of guns. Some like California have UBCs. No private sales permitted. Others have a 50/50 rule with handguns being subject to UBCs but long guns are not. Many have no restriction as long as Federal law is followed.Some gun shows, in fact, don’t permit private sales either in the show or on the property where it is held. The big gun show I attend does not permit them. You can bring a gun for private sale into the show but either have to transfer it through a dealer or leave the property entirely to sell the gun. Basically not anywhere in sight of the front door or in the venue parking lot.But for 95%+ of all sales at a gun show you will be working with an FFL, filling out a form 4473 and passing a background check. Then, and only if the law allows, will you be leaving with your gun. The last gun I bought at a gun show I didn’t leave with as it was a handgun sale across State lines so, per Federal law, I had to have it shipped to a dealer in my state and transfer it there.So much for the so-called “gun show loophole”.

Where to start.First, the insurance industry is going through a major upgrade where a lot of the past inefficiencies are being solved and ironed out.There are inefficiencies at various stages of the insurance process. I will discuss two of the major ones:DistributionWhen you buy insurance, there are three main ways to buyGo to a lead generator online that shows you multiple quotes and then sells your information to insurance agents.The Problem: no one likes being cold called and having their information sold for a profit. You have to finish up your buying process over the phone and are often tossed around between lead generator, insurance agent, and insurance carrier. An example of a lead generator is EverQuote. This is the worst experience for the customer.Go directly to a carrier website and fill out one application and get their quoted price.The Problem: First, the carrier you go to may not be a good fit and just outright deny you a quote after all your work. Second, if you want to check prices on 5 different carriers, you have to fill out five applications. This leads to entering a lot of information five times. You also don’t really have an easy way to compare what is offered in the policy and how the coverage in the five policies compare.Go directly to a brick & mortar independent insurance agency, speak with one of their agents in person or over the phone, and fill out one application and get many prices.The Problem: you may have to visit a physical office. Only open during business hours 9–5 M-F. You have to make one/multiple phone calls. That being said, this is your best option out of the three listed, because you get an experienced professional looking at what you need and shopping not just on price, but quality and value of your policy.I’m trying to create a fourth option to make the insurance buying process more efficient. My goal is to make insurance shopping as easy as buying a plane ticket:What if there was an online insurance agency that allowed you to fill out one simple form online, you submit, and they do the shopping for you with multiple carriers, never sell your information, and send you multiple insurance packages to compare from multiple carriers all crafted for your specific needs. I work only online, email, text, and chat. No picking up the phone, no going to an actual building, and no “only open M-F 9–5”. Of course you can still call or come visit us if you want to, but we realize that is a less efficient shopping process.Now on to another inefficient area of insurance…Inspection & ClaimsInspection and claims is another part of the process that is extremely expensive and inefficient, but it is harder to solve without increasing fraud. Keep in mind that around 10% of claims paid out by insurance companies are fraudulent, so you often need an experienced professional to do the inspection during the initial application of the policy and during the claims process. This is inefficient because it requires scheduling a time, having a person physically drive out to the location of the property, and spend an hour looking at the place and writing a report. This person is expensive.This process is being improved by technology in ways such as using google maps, drone imaging, and even asking the customer to take video and photos of the damage or property to be covered. However, it still has a long way to go before it is anywhere near automated.

Basically, personal property is any property that is not rEval property. Personal property is not permanently attached to land. In most cases, it is moveable and does not last as long as rEval property. Personal property includes vehicles, farm equipment, jewelry, household goods, stocks, and bonds.

Tangible personal property refers to any type of property that can generally be moved (i.e., it is not attached to rEval property or land), touched or felt. These generally include items such as furniture, clothing, jewelry, art, writings, or household goods.

Tangible personal property is everything other than rEval estate that is used in a business or rental property. Examples of tangible personal property are computers, furniture, tools, machinery, signs, equipment, leasehold improvements, supplies, and leased equipment.
