I am not quite sure what is the real question here, so I shall guess. First, all gases have mass, by definition, and hence a mass of gas is attracted to the centre of mass through a gravitational field or force. I assume you know what the centre of mass is, and why the gravitational force from a mass of gas would behave as if it came from a point in the centre of mass. (For a particle embedded on the mass, the issue is more complicated, but let's leave that for the moment.)The question I think you are asking is this: each molecule of gas,  by receiving a gravitational force, should therefore have a potential energy, and since the molecules are in motion, it has a kinetic energy, so how does the gravity pull the gas into a star?First, the gas cloud collapses, and the kinetic energy starts to order itself into an orbit, which, from the viral theorem, has the energy of  a molecule equal to the negative of the kinetic energy, and half the potential energy. It is now more or less, in a  Keplerian orbit. However, the orbital period changes with radial distance, and so there is friction, and the gas starts to collapse into tighter orbits with hotter gas, and the gas gets hotter and hotter as it falls towards the centre. Some of this heat has to be dissipated, otherwise we end up with a very hot cloud of gas, and it does this by radiating heat to space, usually from the dust that is embedded in the gas. The problem with pure hydrogen and helium is that H2 or He cannot radiate from vibrational  modes, the former through symmetry and the latter because there is no vibration. If there is no way of radiating, the heat simply leads to the gas boiling away. (As you ill see below, it gets a bit more complicated than that, though.)That raises a very difficult question for which there is no agreed answer (as far as I know). How did the first stars form? With no dust, how did they radiate enough heat?My guess is that once the gas gets hot enough (something over 2,000 degrees, I think) hydrogen starts to form H3+, which is a triangular molecule, and this can radiate infrared, and so the initial very hot gas could condense into stars. This may be why the very early stars would probably be very large. The gas sufficient to form a red dwarf could not get hot enough, and there would simply be clouds of hot gas that may or may not dissipate, but the very giant early stars had very short lives, ending with massive supernovae, massive shock waves, and clouds of initial dust to set up the scene for smaller stars.

You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience).Do a search on the potential team.Before the interviews,  try to find smart question that you are going to ask for the potential host (do a search on the team  to find nice and deep questions to impress your host). Prepare well your resume.You are very likely not going to get algorithm/data structure questions like in the first round. It's going to be just some friendly chat if you are lucky. If your potential team is working on something like machine learning, expect that  they are going to ask you questions about machine learning, courses related to machine learning you have and relevant experience (projects, internship). Of course you have to study that before the interview. Take as long time as you need if you feel rusty. It takes some time to get ready for the host matching (it's less than the technical interview)  but it's worth it of course.
