I see some really good suggestions. Although, I would like to elaborate on one particular suggestion based on personal experience.                                         ThailandFlight: I got an amazing deal to Bangkok for 12,000/- INR  return on Air Asia! Book much in advance and this reduces considerably.Visa: 1000/- Baht for an on arrival Visa for 14 days, approximately costs about 1900/- INR.Accommodation: The accommodations are surprisingly really cheap. There are such tidy hostels for such reasonable prices. I stayed at one in Bangkok for 200/- Baht a day. In Koh Samui also, about 200/- Baht a day. Hostels make a great accommodation choice, you get to meet travellers and socialise with quite a few. Resorts, hotel rooms and other choices are also considerably cheap. Made me wonder why hotels in India are so expensive. I stayed at a hotel in Chennai for 1500/- INR before I boarded the flight and the hotel wasn't even half as tidy as many of the hostels in Thailand.Domestic travel: The trains in Southern Thailand are notoriously late but they are really cheap. They resemble Indian trains and are on par with the same when it comes to being clean. But the train bookings are so easy and the staff are extremely cooperative. My train from Surat Thani to Bangkok was delayed by 2 hours. So the staff immediately booked one for me on the previous train which was also delayed by 2 hours. So I was basically on time. Just go with the flow.Food: Here is where I envy non-vegetarians. So many options for street food, it's almost criminal! And so so so affordable. If you go to a fancy cafe, the prices are in line with a fancy cafe in Bangalore. Mainly south east Asian cuisine but you are offered various choices.Pubs: Alcohol is really cheap. Especially Chang beer. Fine judge me, I went on a budget trip. And the pubs in Bangkok and Koh Samui have such amazing live music.Shopping: I think it's well established that Bangkok is THE destination for cheap shopping so I shall not elaborate here.Massages: A normal Thai massage - 200 Baht. A high end Thai massage - 600 Baht. Cheap. All spa services are cheap.Touristy travel: The prices for entry and intra city travel are not very expensive. Although, India is cheaper on this regard. Please do not go to the Tiger temple near Bangkok, it is a waste of money and time. Overrated to no limits.Overall, for 10 days in Thailand where I travelled to Bangkok - Khao Sok National Park - Koh Samui - Koh Tao - Koh Nang Yuan - Koh Samui - Bangkok, I spent a mere 30,000/- INR (Excluding the flight which was 12,000/- INR).
