How can I get admitted to top business schools like ESSEC?ESSEC is pretty selective when it comes to their admission process. They expect every student to bring something unique to their class and moreover has qualities that will help the student succeed in today’s competitive business world.Top business schools are always looking for the students that demonstrate -1) Analytical and Strategic Thinking Skills2) Communication Skills3) Creativity4) Flexibility and Open-Mindedness5) Interpersonal and Team-work Skills6) Leadership and Motivational Skills7) Strong Organization and Time ManagementJust make sure you take initiatives to build qualities’ as written above. You could also work on the following things to increase your chances of getting into a top school like ESSEC -1) Get work experience: Though having work experience is not a criteria for most MiM schools, having atleast 1 year of work experience definitely helps. Especially when your academics are not at par with the school’s expectations. Also, if you have worked for a well known company, the brand name helps! If the company you worked for isn’t that well known, that’s okay too, as it all depends on how you explain the job you did.2) A high GMAT score can work wonders. And it’s pretty achievable too, provided you put in the required efforts. Aim for a score of 680+.3) Your academics plays a decent role too. A high CGPA across all semesters shows that you are a consistent performer and will definitely improve your chances. I have also seen many people who have had a low CGPA but still score an admit. So it depends on how you explain yourself to the Adcom committee for the low grades. Also, schools know how hard it is to score top grades in certain UG colleges across the world, so they scale the marks accordingly and evaluate you.4) Have a well rounded personality. Top schools are always looking for people who are different and have done something quanitifiable, which makes them stand out from the crowd.Generally, schools favour students who :Have held a leadership position in one of the school clubs (For e.g. President of the drama club)Have an interesting hobby (For e.g. Completed a course in handwriting analysis)Have volunteered for a cause (in event organization or in NGO's)Did something entrepreneurial (Founded a company, started a Website, etc)Have participated / won in signNow Presentations/Debates/ Projects5) Be clear about your goal: Why this particular program? Why ESSEC or HEC in particular? Why will you be a good fit for the school and this program? What value will you bring? MAKE SURE YOUR GOALS SHOULD BE CRYSTAL CLEARWell, all these things have to be clearly explained to the school admission committee in your Resume and your Essays. Many people think that having a high GMAT score is enough, but that's just the tip of the iceberg and is only one of the many screening techniques used by schools. An excellent, creative and well-written essay which showcases your multitude of talents is absolutely necessary!Only by looking good on signNow, do you have a chance to be called for an interview and then actually explain all that you have already written about.Hope this helps. If you need a detailed profile evaluation of your chances at ESSEC, you can check out the MiM Profile Evaluation, it will give you a good assessment of your strengths, weaknesses and overall chances at ESSEC.
How can I get admitted to a top business school like HEC or ESSEC?I have seen an overwhelming number of students apply for top business schools every year. To get an admission, in schools like HEC or ESSEC, in particular, the main thing is to make sure that your application is not focused on only one thing.Along with this, contradictory to what most people think, your application is not the only thing that helps you in getting an admission, even though it does play a huge role. The following factors are also of importance;**GMAT/GREA strong GMAT/GRE score, which is considered to be 700+/300+ respectively plays an important role in your application. They are entrance exams to know your aptitude and understand your knowledge along with your grasping capabilities.Previous academics scoreYour previous academic score in school as well as in your Bachelors degree play an important role as well. An overall CGPA of 8.0+ will definately be a factor which will increase your chances of getting an admission into HEC, ESSEC or any of the top B-SchoolWork experienceYour work experience is a factor which can make you stand out from the others. A good brand for your work experience and your achievements in the organisation should be highlighted in your application in a way that would make it seem to the admission committee that you would be the perfect fit for the school.Extracurricular activitiesAny extracurricular activities show that you have a personality and hobbies and that you are not bound by academics only. These activities can be social volunteering, participating in sports competitions, organising events, extra courses or workshops undertaken, etc. The advantage that you have is that it is not necessary for the courses or workshops to be related to the field of your Masters. Most ImportantlyEven though all these intrigue the admissions committee and make them have an interest in you, a place where you can particularly add interest of the Admissions Committee is your essays. Having an application that consists of your Statement of Purpose, Letter of Recommendations and Essays which describe your work experience, extracurricular activities, academics and other highlights in the right manner along with all the skills that you have acquired along the way and how you can contribute to the school is the key of getting admission into the top business schools like HEC and ESSEC. Your SOP, LOR and essays are also your chance to justify certain shortcomings in your profile such as low CGPA and less work experience. Make sure you spend a considerable amount of time in framing these for a stronger approach to your application. If you need help or want to know how to write a strong application to get into your target school, check out our All-In-One services here: https://www.mim-essay.com/mim-al...

They love people who are different and have done something which makes them stand out from the crowd. You can have a comprehensive profile evaluation done at MiM Profile Evaluation: Review your profile's strengths , it will allow me to give you a better evaluation of your chances at these schools.
Why don't schools teach children about taxes and bills and things that they will definitely need to know as adults to get by in life?Departments of education and school districts always have to make decisions about what to include in their curriculum. There are a lot of life skills that people need that aren't taught in school. The question is should those skills be taught in schools?I teach high school, so I'll talk about that. The typical high school curriculum is supposed to give students a broad-based education that prepares them to be citizens in a democracy and to be able to think critically. For a democracy to work, we need educated, discerning citizens with the ability to make good decisions based on evidence and objective thought. In theory, people who are well informed about history, culture, science, mathematics, etc., and are capable of critical, unbiased thinking, will have the tools to participate in a democracy and make good decisions for themselves and for society at large. In addition to that, they should be learning how to be learners, how to do effective, basic research, and collaborate with other people. If that happens, figuring out how to do procedural tasks in real life should not provide much of a challenge. We can't possibly teach every necessary life skill people need, but we can help students become better at knowing how to acquire the skills they need. Should we teach them how to change a tire when they can easily consult a book or search the internet to find step by step instructions for that? Should we teach them how to balance a check book or teach them how to think mathematically and make sense of problems so that the simple task of balancing a check book (which requires simple arithmetic and the ability to enter numbers and words in columns and rows in obvious ways) is easy for them to figure out. If we teach them to be good at critical thinking and have some problem solving skills they will be able to apply those overarching skills to all sorts of every day tasks that shouldn't be difficult for someone with decent cognitive ability to figure out. It's analogous to asking why a culinary school didn't teach its students the steps and ingredients to a specific recipe. The school taught them about more general food preparation and food science skills so that they can figure out how to make a lot of specific recipes without much trouble. They're also able to create their own recipes. So, do we want citizens with very specific skill sets that they need to get through day to day life or do we want citizens with critical thinking, problem solving, and other overarching cognitive skills that will allow them to easily acquire ANY simple, procedural skill they may come to need at any point in their lives?
If a person starts a home based business, what forms would the person need to fill out to get it recognized as a real business? It’s really going to matter on where you live. Generally in the US, if you are going to run a small business as a sole proprietor with no employees, you’ll register a “dba” or “doing business as” form with your local county, register for sales tax with the state, and it’s a good idea to get an EIN from the federal government too. Go slow, ask questions, and there’s lots of help to get through the simple forms. Usually costs about $50ish bucks for the dba, and the other two are free. You DON’T need a lawyer for that. But it’s never a bad idea to have a business lawyer, even if you don’t use them right away. Business insurance is more important. Good luck!
How many application forms does a person need to fill out in his/her lifetime? As many as you want to !
One of my friends lives far away from my school but he still wants to go to this school. He is using our address. How do we fill out the school form? We don't know what to exactly put on the form, we need massive help. We need to finish this today. My district has a window of time that allows students to transfer to chosen schools. Almost all transfers are accepted. There is a specific procedure to do this correctly. If the student lives in a different district, they have to officially notify that district that they are planning on going to a neighboring district. signNowwork must be signed by both districts. Please contact all the districts involved. They can help you with the steps. Each year the student must reapply for the transfer. My district only denies transfers when attendance or behavior has been an issue.
