I personally have not. I work in a pharmacy, so I usually get my prescriptions at my own pharmacy. I know many people that get their prescriptions in the mail from companies in the USA. This works mostly OK, except there are often times when there is an issue, and the medication is not sent out on time, and the patient runs out of their medicine while they are waiting for it to come in the mail. I think if the medicine was coming from Canada I could probably trust that. Any other country I doubt I would really trust it.I have read many articles in pharmacy and medical publications & journals about medicine coming from other countries where they are using dangerous ingredients that are banned in our country. These ingredients may cause harm, or are precursors to cancer. Often times when you receive medication from another country, there is no real quality control. Sometimes you get less of the medicine than you are supposed to get. And, sometimes the medicine is completely fake, with none of the active ingredient present. What is your recourse at that point? An online company that sends medications to other countries through the mail…are they going to respond to any complaints you have? Are you going to travel to the country to try to track them down? In the last five years, I would say that the biggest advantage to using a local pharmacy, is that you can find the people who filled your prescription and talk to them. This way you can resolve any issues face to face. I believe this advantage is more valuable than people are willing to give credit. It seems people are getting snookered into the promise of much less expensive medicine. The biggest issue with this, is that if something goes wrong, these people are almost impossible to find. If you take your health seriously, I’m not sure this is the best way to go. As in many situations the old axiom applies: you get what you pay for. I believe that your own personal health is of such importance, it is wise to be cautious when increasing your risk of not getting the appropriate medication.
