A valid Unconditional letter of acceptance from the chosen publicly-funded College or University. for admission in a full-time program. This is sometimes referred as Letter of Offer.Proof of Financial Support. A Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) of 10000 CAD (Canadian Dollars) To the best of my knowledge, there are two banks that issue GIC - Scotia Bank & ICICI Canada. Advantage is after obtaining GIC, you DO NOT HAVE TO ATTACH ANY OTHER FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS as proof of financial worthiness.Letter of Explanation. A Statement of Purpose. This is a personalised write up without any laid down format. I consider this to be vital. Be truthful. The thrust should be three fold. First, a small introduction of your family & academic background. Here you will endeavour to prove that you have reasons to fall back to your home country after your studies in Canada. These could be need to manage properties, look after aged members, ethical reasons to do good for your roots, ample opportunities available in your home country after international standard studies & experience in Canada coupled with your base qualifications. In this case, as a first step while pursuing your studies in Canada, on line or through authorised private agency, you will have to apply to your Embassy / High Commission in Canada for issuance of a new passport (Along with your new Passport, you will be permitted to retain your old Passport also, as it contains vital Study Permit & travel details) Indian Passport Laws permit a bonafide student to apply for a new Passport anywhere within 3 years of its given expiry date. Issuance of New Passport may take up to 30 days. In the given example, second step for you will be to apply on line or through authorised private agency to the Canadian Immi in Canada extension of your Study Permit up to the date of culmination of your proposed study program.This may take about 5 - 6 weeks. Both these steps are permissible. But, all this tension and effort can be avoided simply by ensuring, if possible, that your Passport expiry date is well beyond the end date of your proposed study program.Check provincial guidelines. Meant for skilled people. Manages three economic immigration programs:Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW) - Skilled workers with foreign experience. All professionals in sales, marketing, IT, finance, legal, medicine, etc. fall under this category.Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST) - People qualified in a skilled trade with foreign experience. Chefs, bakers, equipment operators, etc. fall under this category.Canadian Experience Class (CEC) - Skilled workers who have Canadian work experience.Provincial Nominee: Second most popular channel. Meant for people who do not have sufficient score to clear Express Entry. Run by each individual province. Program opens on ad-hoc basis. This program is meant to boost the economies of Atlantic provinces that usually don’t see much immigration influx.RefugeesMajority of the applicants apply via Express Entry, Provincial Nomination or Family Sponsorship. For this answer, I’ll focus exclusively on Federal Skilled Worker Program.Canadian immigration is entirely points based. Every applicant is awarded fixed points for their education, age, language abilities, marital status, spouse’s qualifications, etc. The system that awards these points is called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).Every month, the Canadian Immigration Agency - IRCC, announces a cut-off score. All applicants with CRS score above this cut-off receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence. The ones that don’t qualify remain in the pool.STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR CANADIAN PRSTEP 1: Check your eligibility (Cost: Free, Time: 10 mins)Use this quick online tool from the Canadian Govt. to check if you are eligible to apply. Do you want to come to Canada, or extend your stay? Scoring Criteria >> Eligibility to apply as a Federal Skilled Worker (Express Entry).STEP 2: Gauge your chances early (Cost: Free, Time: 15 mins - 2 hours)If you are eligible to apply, then I strongly recommend you to check your CRS score with your info and hypothetical scores for IELTS >> Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool: skilled immigrants (Express Entry). At this stage, there are some important factors that will adversely affect your application:IELTS score: You need to score at least 8–7–7–7 (Listening, reading, writing, speaking respectively), to sufficient points to compete in the pool. Anything less than this, will cost you tonnes of points.Education: If you have a Bachelor/Masters, do some background research to check if World Education Services (WES), the authority that will assess your educational qualifications, will consider your university degree equivalent to a Canadian Bachelors/Masters. Reason why I say this is because if you have a Masters from a tier 3 college, and if WES does not find it equivalent to a Canadian degree, then you will end up being recognized as an applicant with only a Bachelors degree, losing crucial points in the process. Doing this check at this stage will save you a lot of money and trouble.Age: Every year beyond the age of 30, applicants will lose 5 points. So if you are planning to apply at a later date, then be sure to keep this mind.Work Experience: While claiming for work experience, note that Canada assumes that you have always worked in the same job classification, as denoted by your NOC code. If you were a Marketer for 3 years, and an Interior Designer for 2 years, then you cannot claim a combined work experience of 5 years. Choose whichever experience you want to claim, and stick with that corresponding NOC throughout your application.Spouse: It is not mandatory to have your spouse take the IELTS and verify their educational credentials. But if your CRS calculator shows you with points in the range of 400–430, then consider entering hypothetical IELTS scores for your spouse, and also entering their educational credentials.Try multiple permutations and combinations of the above factors in the CRS tool before you even begin your PR journey. This will help you get an idea about where you currently stand.For e.g., for this entire year, the draws have always been around 440–445. So look for a hypothetical CRS configuration that will help you score more than this cut-off.Everyone with a CRS score of 400+ should proceed to the next step. Others who aren’t scoring as much, should do a little bit more research and consider alternative immigration methods.Protip: I suggest taking a free mock IELTS test to actually check how much you score. This assessment will take you approximately one month, so get started at the earliest. Some things to keep in mind:I chose the express shipment via UPS at CAD 85 to receive the document. People who have chosen the cheapest delivery option have had mixed results. So take your chances.I also chose to have my university send the transcripts and degree certificates directly to WES, with the reference number mentioned. Works flawlessly, saves time.STEP 4: Take the “IELTS General Training” test (Cost: INR 11,500 pp, Time: depends on test date availability)While you initiate the WES ECA process, also start looking for available IELTS test dates in your city. Considering the heavy demand for IELTS for both immigration and education, test dates are at least 20 days away in many cities around the world. Having said that, I strongly suggest that you take a test date that’s at least 30 days away to give you ample time to prepare for the test.ProTip: Some tips to score well on your IELTS examSTEP 5: Start saving money in your bank account as Proof of FundsAs part of the PR process, Canadian immigration rules require you to have sufficient funds to manage your living expenses when you first arrive. Through the PR process, applicants need to prove that they have the necessary funds in their bank account. If your CRS score clears the cut-off, then you will receive an Invitation to Apply within 24–48 hours, via email.In case the cut-off appears to be far beyond your signNow, and if you feel there is nothing more you can do to add more points to your profile, then consider applying for Provincial Nomination Programs instead. They are migrating to a new country. They do not understand that migration means reset your life from zero.My father and mother came from Bangladesh in 1989. They had 3 cars in Dhaka Bangladesh, 4 servants. 1 dedicated to look after us two brothers. He had big business in Bangladesh and Middle East. But due to circumstance, they decided to migrate. Both my father and mother had master’s degreeThey knew they had to start all over again.5 days after landing in Canada (Montreal) My father worked in a socks factory, while my mother did not work until they moved to Toronto 8 months later.My mother ends up working for Red Lobster as a dish washer, while my father for temporary become Insurance sales man. We stayed in 1-bedroom house. parents lived in Living room, 4 kids lived in one room in a bunk bed (thanks to complementary of Canadian government, when we arrived, they gave us those bed for free).My father ends up working as a taxi driver for next 15 years to provide for us. Never complain about this country. Both my brother and I are in 6 figure income categories in Canada.I worked for 6 months for FREE at Computek Institute of Technology when I was 18 years told. At that time, I was Microsoft Certified. I worked volunteer to teach older people about HTML programming.Now I teach others around the world. I have a school in Toronto, Where I gave 4 Bangladesh (IT Engineers recently migrated) - $15,000 worth of courses I gave them for $1,500 each just because they are from Bangladesh. You know what happen, none of them came to class properly because they could not wake up every weekend at 9 AM but was up to post Facebook status about the tasty breakfast their wife made for them. (yes, they forgot they are on my FB friend list).Most immigrant don’t get this today. You must come with a mentality that you will start from zero or don’t come.You can get a job in your field that is great. Gravy on Top. But if you don’t get ready to work hard. Let your ego go and stop complaining about this countryNo one forced you to come here. you made your choice.Most immigrant/migrant feels that they can pause their life where they are for next 24 to 72 hours, then come to Canada and expect to resume their life from that point.No, one must be willing to reset and start all over again.How do I again Canadian experience?Start with taking courses in your subject. Google is The Greatest University.Volunteer at local small business - for FREE or small pay.Take various workshop - 80% of them are free.Change your career if need to.Write about your subject online and do online webinar and seminar for free for others. - Google Hangout allows you to host free webinar. Teach others about your subject around the world. It increases your confident and your skills of communications.Attend various free networking events. Collects leads. Follow up with them later.Join various organization that helps you find jobs. Canadian government has many non-profit organization to help.how do I plan migration?Come with less baggage. That means if possible leave your family behind for a while as if you are going to do a project for your company for 2 to 3 months. (sorry if I sound rude).When you bring you entire family, you have lot more expense to deal with compare to if you came alone. You can live in a shared room, you can save money many ways. You. can work two odd jobs to survive while maintaining your family.Bring your family just to land and send them back home while you settle and get a job and secure a good stable environment them.Family of 4 average expense will be around $2000 to $4000 depend on how you decide to live. That $10,000 to $20,000 that you are supposed to bring with you as a new immigrant will go far if you come alone for now.If you leave your family behind for 4 to 5 months, world will not change, they will not forget their father or mother. It is a temporary setback while giving you enough time to plan and figure out what to do.Even if you are a doctor, engineer, deliver pizza, work as a waitress, drive uber, while you prepare for your career in your industry.Blog about your field, write about it. Teach others online. Will help you grow your online presence.Use LinkedIn to get in touch with all the recruiters.  You should spend 6 to 8 hours looking for jobs. Not watch cricket news, or spend time in your community.You will get Canadian experience.You will succeed in this country. But let go of that entitlement. Just because you are qualified in India or Pakistan, that does not mean Canadian has to honor that. Systems are different between those countryAlso remember one thingCanada is investing on your kids by allowing you to migrate. You are expendable to her. It is your kids that will change this country. You are just a vassal for now.You must also understand - if you decide to migrate, then you are not doing it for yourself. You are doing it for your kids.Otherwise do not migrate to this country. We have enough homegrown to complain about this country. We do not need outsiders.Good luck to you

Schedule and Prepare for your Interview An F-1 student visa for the USA can be issued up to 120 days in advance of your course of study start date. The length of time you can stay is determined be the immigration officer at the border. A normal stay is up to six months, though presumably on seeing your study permit they will admit you for the duration of your course. So in short you should be able to arrive at any time before your course and be admitted.

The max. time for online application is 63 days. But usually it takes 14-21 days to get your ext approved.
