Do military members have to pay any fee for leave or fiancee forms?
NOOOOOOO. You are talking to a military romance scammer. I received an email from the US Army that directly answers your question that is pasted below please keep reading.I believe you are the victim of a military Romance Scam whereas the person you are talking to is a foreign national posing as an American Soldier claiming to be stationed overseas on a peacekeeping mission. That's the key to the scam they always claim to be on a peacekeeping mission.Part of their scam is saying that they have no access to their money that their mission is highly dangerous. If your boyfriend girlfriend/future husband/wife is asking you to do the following or has exhibited this behavior, it is a most likely a scam:Moves to private messaging site immediately after meeting you on Facebook or SnapChat or Instagram or some dating or social media site. Often times they delete the site you met them on right after they asked you to move to a more private messaging siteProfesses love to you very quickly & seems to quote poems and song lyrics along with using their own sort of broken language, as they profess their love and devotion quickly. They also showed concern for your health and love for your family.Promises marriage as soon as he/she gets to state for leave that they asked you to pay for. They Requests money (wire transfers) and Amazon, iTune ,Verizon, etc gift cards, for medicine, religious practices, and leaves to come home, internet access, complete job assignments, help sick friend, get him out of trouble, or anything that sounds fishy. The military does provide all the soldier needs including food medical Care and transportation for leave. Trust me, I lived it, you are probably being scammed. I am just trying to show you examples that you are most likely being connned.Below is an email response I received after I sent an inquiry to the US government when I discovered I was scammed. I received this wonderful response back with lots of useful links on how to find and report your scammer. And how to learn more about Romance Scams.Right now you can also copy the picture he gave you and do a google image search and you will hopefully see the pictures of the real person he is impersonating. this doesn't always work and take some digging. if you find the real person you can direct message them and alert them that their image is being used for scamming.Good Luck to you and I'm sorry this may be happening to you. please continue reading the government response I received below it's very informative. You have contacted an email that is monitored by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command. Unfortunately, this is a common concern. I'm sick of paying for everyone else's kids to go to school. Why can't people without children pay smaller amounts of school tax than people with children?
I'm sick of paying for everyone else's kids to go to school. Why can't people without children pay smaller amounts of school tax than people with children?I hear ya. I don’t have kids either and always questioned why I should be paying for other people’s children. Not necessarily schools (because I can see the value of a well-educated population), but I definitely resented having my tax dollars going to pay “parenting allowances” so people could afford their kids.Hell, we even had “baby bonus” payment in my country a few years ago. That really pissed me off! What do those of us who aren’t adding to an over-populated, under-resourced world get for not hogging our share of the pie?So yeah… I totally understand the resentment you feel at paying for other people’s kids. That was, at least, until I stumbled on a comment in a post about the economy which pointed out that citizen’s taxes are not needed to fund federal spending. That’s because in countries like Australia, the USA, Canada, Japan, Britain, etc., who use their own units of currency (dollars, yen, pounds, etc.) the federal government is the only entity legally entitled to issue, or create, those units of currency. After all, you and I would be arrested for counterfeiting if we created the national currency - and since citizens own private businesses, currency is not created there either. But they obviously come from somewhere, right? And that somewhere is the federal government. This means our government creates the very dollars they spend. And before we can even use dollars to pay taxes, the government had to of FIRST spent them into the economy for us to get our hands on.So, now you might be wondering: well if they can just create money at will, why the fuck am I paying taxes to pay for stuff then?Which is a fair question, especially since this is what we keep hearing from politicians and the media.Well, 2 things:State governments don’t have the power to create the currency any more than you or I, so they do rely on taxes to fund state spending. However, there is no reason - other than political will - that the federal government could not fund what the states require. They’re certainly happy enough to put more and more of the funding burden on the states. There’s nothing to stop them from reversing this trend if they chose to.Inflation. Imagine our economy like a giant bathtub and currency as the water. Federal government spending is like turning on the tap to put fresh water in the bath. If they kept turning that tap on and adding more and more and more water, eventually the bath would overflow (inflation). Taxes are the drain at the bottom of the bath. By allowing water to be taken out, new water can be added. The reason we can’t just fill the bath to a certain level and leave it there is because there are always things government need to spend money on. Things like infrastructure (roads, schools, hospitals, internet and telephone networks, parks, footpaths, etc.), welfare (pensions, disability payments, unemployment, parenting payments, etc.), social institutions (healthcare, education, police, prisons, etc.) and wages to those who run and administer these things. So to keep providing all the things that make our society operate and look after our citizens, the government needs to continually spend. Which is why they also need to continually tax - so there are not more dollars than goods or labour available for purchase, which can lead to inflation and the value of your dollar dropping. There are other reasons governments need to tax, but, at a federal level, it is NEVER to fund spending. They issue (create) the national currency, so taxes and surpluses are not necessary to spend. Ever.Anyhoo, after I learnt this (and spent a good 2–3 years researching this information and talking to a number of economists around the world to verify this as fact), it completely changed my view on paying taxes. Now I fully support governments spending as much as they need to fund education, parenting payments (if it means kids don’t have to grow up in abject poverty with all the negative repercussions that come with that), healthcare, foreign aid…. whatever is required to make this a better, smarter, safer, cleaner world for us all to live in.I would rather pay higher taxes and have all the necessities in life provided, than have to decide between paying rent, or power this month. This information was incredibly liberating because, instead of resenting people who are just trying to do better in life like the rest of us, I could instead shift my focus to supporting politicians and political parties who are willing to invest better social services. If you’re interested, this site is an awesome place to learn more about the workings of the economy, currency creation and taxation in simple, layman’s terms: The Basics of Modern Money

How to decide my bank name city and state if filling out a form, if the bank is a national bank?
Somewhere on that form should be a blank for routing number and account number. Those are available from your check and/or your bank statements. If you can't find them, call the bank and ask or go by their office for help with the form. As long as those numbers are entered correctly, any error you make in spelling, location or naming should not influence the eventual deposit into your proper account.

For taxes, does one have to fill out a federal IRS form and a state IRS form?
No, taxes are handled separately between state and federal governments in the United States. The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) is a federal, not state agency. You will be required to fill out the the necessary tax documentation for your federal income annually and submit them to the IRS by April 15th of that year. You can receive extensions for this; but you have to apply for those extensions. As far as state taxes go, 41 states require you to fill out an income tax return annually. They can either mail you those forms or they be downloaded from online. They are also available for free at various locations around the state.Nine states have no tax on personal income, so there is no need to fill out a state tax return unless you are a business owner.Reference:www.irs.gov

Why don't schools teach children about taxes and bills and things that they will definitely need to know as adults to get by in life?
Departments of education and school districts always have to make decisions about what to include in their curriculum. There are a lot of life skills that people need that aren't taught in school. The question is should those skills be taught in schools?I teach high school, so I'll talk about that. The typical high school curriculum is supposed to give students a broad-based education that prepares them to be citizens in a democracy and to be able to think critically. For a democracy to work, we need educated, discerning citizens with the ability to make good decisions based on evidence and objective thought. In theory, people who are well informed about history, culture, science, mathematics, etc., and are capable of critical, unbiased thinking, will have the tools to participate in a democracy and make good decisions for themselves and for society at large. In addition to that, they should be learning how to be learners, how to do effective, basic research, and collaborate with other people. If that happens, figuring out how to do procedural tasks in real life should not provide much of a challenge. We can't possibly teach every necessary life skill people need, but we can help students become better at knowing how to acquire the skills they need. Should we teach them how to change a tire when they can easily consult a book or search the internet to find step by step instructions for that? Should we teach them how to balance a check book or teach them how to think mathematically and make sense of problems so that the simple task of balancing a check book (which requires simple arithmetic and the ability to enter numbers and words in columns and rows in obvious ways) is easy for them to figure out. If we teach them to be good at critical thinking and have some problem solving skills they will be able to apply those overarching skills to all sorts of every day tasks that shouldn't be difficult for someone with decent cognitive ability to figure out. It's analogous to asking why a culinary school didn't teach its students the steps and ingredients to a specific recipe. The school taught them about more general food preparation and food science skills so that they can figure out how to make a lot of specific recipes without much trouble. They're also able to create their own recipes. So, do we want citizens with very specific skill sets that they need to get through day to day life or do we want citizens with critical thinking, problem solving, and other overarching cognitive skills that will allow them to easily acquire ANY simple, procedural skill they may come to need at any point in their lives?
