Each year, our utility solutions teams traverse thousands of miles of right-of-ways all across North America in collaborative efforts with our utility partners. In addition to providing safe and reliable energy and meeting compliance standards, there's growing interest in managing these type of habitats to support species of conservation concern. The linear nature of right-of-ways makes them ideal for creating connectivity and promoting biodiversity throughout the landscape. And the use of integrated vegetation management promotes the growth of early successional forbs which provide both host plants as well as nectar and pollen for pollinators.
