[Music] so my name is saba and i am grateful to be here to just talk briefly about my experience and journey i was fortunate to receive an echo scholarship to the honors college at the u and i think it really highlighted the fact that there's an exceptional educational experience and a cohort experience at the university of utah thank you saba she is the first rhodes scholar the university of utah has had in 22 years it's exciting to be back here at my alma mater to announce some new scholarships that we'll be offering at the university of utah it is a scholarship that we call the guarantee guarantee scholarship and it is going to go to all valedictorians and salutatorians in all utah high schools across the entire state that will affect roughly about 700 different students valedictorians will receive 8 000 annually so thirty two thousand dollars over four years and salutatorians which are typically the second in the class will receive six thousand dollars annually or twenty four thous
