The Internship I am participating here is a graduate internship and it is in collaboration with o NL and University of Tennessee nox Knoxville I performed a lot of tasks this summer and the main task was to modify and add new physics to a to an existing multicol simulation program for light transport in turbic media such as tissue Etc and uh for that we had we had to add in new physics that we wanted to study about basically uh a geometric phase in polarized light which is known as as Berry phasee so we wanted to study that study Berry phase in turbit media and to that to do that we had to add new physics to an existing multicol simulation code that was my main task this summer um I've learned a lot of things here working in an in a scientific environment over here I've learned how to work in a disciplined way uh which is very important and how to do critical thinking in a topic that I'm working on read a lot of papers on on my work and uh realized how scientists think and what kind of
