right now we're joined by the president of the Hawaii firefighters Union Bobby Lee Bobby thanks so much for taking the time to be with us as well we know it is an incredibly difficult day what are you hearing from the firefighters there on the front lines fighting the fire and also involved in the recovery efforts well thank you Phil I appreciate being here you know for the most part our firefighters they're all they're there to help people and so regardless of how difficult a job is they're going to just continue to to push forward and and just keep going and helping everybody that's that's what we do you know you talk about the First Responders and your job and you know your job is to do that but still uh the firefighters the First Responders live there they're working so hard many of them are also dealing with their own losses this has to be incredibly emotional for them to be doing their jobs while dealing with either lost homes or or God forbid lost family members yes and that is
