hey this is attorney Elizabeth potts-weinstein and today we're going to talk about how to change the address for your business so if you have a business you have some kind of address it's a mailing address it's your physical location address you may have both even if you work from home it's your home address for your business if you want to change those addresses which we always end up needing to do that eventually there's a whole bunch of places you need to change that so what we're going to do is kind of go through all those different places and what you need to file now I'm specifically going to be talking about how to change your address in California for a California LLC or Corporation it's going to be a little bit different if you have a sole proprietorship or partnership and it's of course going to be different if you're in a different state but a lot of the same things apply and I'll tell you what applies to whom and when so the first thing you're going to do if you have an LLC
