hello everyone welcome to calm sich how's this year treating you so far can you believe the first month of 2022 is already over it's almost feels like i was zoned out for the entire month because i don't remember doing anything to make it past so fast this brings me to today's agenda today we have taken the responsibility to answer a few questions my colleagues had about being zoned out without further ado let's get started [Music] what does zoning out mean well zoning or spacing out happens when you experience dissociation a milder form of course dissociation happens when your body chooses to freeze when you're either overwhelmed or stressed or simply tired when your body freezes as a response to stress your brain zones out you basically shut down because fighting or fleeing is not an option for you anymore what does zoning out feel what happens when your laptop or pc is overloaded does it shut down or reboot well that's exactly how zoning out feels it feels like your brain is clouded
