if you're applying to high school what you really should be doing right now it's going to open houses going to high school fairs and really exploring your options there are a lot of different high school options out there and there are programs within schools it is very important to investigate all of your options the first week of October we send every eighth-grade student an eligibility report letting them know what schools and programs they might be eligible to apply to and we want everybody to understand the range of options that they have available to them at this point after exploring some of those options and understanding what those programs have to offer we suggest that you do some more intensive research about what school is really going to be right for your child we have created a high school guide for every eighth grade students we will be sending those out through your eighth-grade counselors and you should be receiving them the first week of November that high school guid
