hey everyone welcome back to my channel it's me again chet and today we're going to create and apply master pages you'll learn about the basics of master pages and there's a lot of things that you can do with it and this is just so you can get started with it and without further ado let's get on to indesign [Music] so a master page is a non-printing page that you can use as a template for the rest of the pages in your document it can contain text and graphic elements that will appear on all pages of the publication such as the headers the footers the page numbers etc and they can also contain empty text or graphic frames that serve as placeholder and document pages objects on a master page appear on all pages with that master applied any changes you make to master page automatically applied to associated pages a master item cannot be selected on a document page unless the master item is overwritten so now we are on indesign now on this side you'll see the pages panel this and if you do
