The UT System Office of Employee Benefits administers the UT Benefits program, working collaboratively with  all the UT System institutions.  Around 300,000 employees, retirees, and eligible family members   participate in the UT Benefits program. BENEFITS ELIGIBILITY & ENROLLMENT Under state law, you must meet specific  criteria to be eligible for UT Benefits coverage. For full-time employees, you must  work at least 40 hours per week or have a full-time appointment.
