[Music] to claim the Ontario Trillium credit using TurboTax follow these steps first click on provincial get started then click continue click continue again read the following statements and click any checkbox that applies then click continue this is the part of the return where you can apply for the Ontario Trillium benefit if you were a resident of Ontario as of December 31st 2019 and the following applied you've paid rent or property tax in 2019 you lived in a student residence in 2019 you lived in a long-term care home in 2019 or you lived on a reserve and you paid your energy costs of your principal residence in 2019 if any of these apply you and your spouse or partner can apply by changing the check box to yes if you lived in Northern Ontario you may also be eligible to apply for the Northern Ontario energy Credit changed the check box to yes if that applies click continue and you're done applying for the Ontario Trillium benefit be sure to file your taxes otherwise your applica
