[Music] Frances Willard house is one of three national historic landmarks in the city of Evanston there was extensive plaster damage and water damage in the house we had to do extensive research historic research we hope that the restoration helps tell Willard's story to be in the house as it looked when she lived there it really helps to enhance the narrative of this woman who was a social reformer and a very important woman's advocate at the end of the 1800s [Music] [Applause] our project was totally remake it - totally remake it inside it was a gut renovation you might call it where we stripped out everything from the inside of the masonry out and rebuilt it to contemporary standards we re conditioned all the exterior with new windows we've cleaned and repointed all of the masonry and totally renovated the exterior of the building and there's been reconditioned to be a much more pleasing and useful facility than it was originally constructed to be the 1920s edition didn't really hav
