okay so this this talk and the next one are ones that I've not ever done before so who knows what's going to happen it's going to be an adventure uh but what I thought I would do is it might be I thought it would be helpful to tell you guys what I do and what I'm thinking about when in the first couple of sessions so so last week or last month was all about the basic principles what is biblical counseling uh who do you have to be to be a counselor all of that kind of stuff the more of the philosophic kinds of things and now we're moving into more practical practical things and I thought I would just tell you what I do uh in my first session and then the next hour will be what I do in my second session and then from there there on so so here we go so the Practical considerations and I call this setting setting the tone for a counseling session is important for how things go so things like um comfort your couches or your chairs or your tables the physical properties of the room that you'
