hi my name is peyton townsend and i'm a junior with a major in theater i'm from chesapeake virginia this is the ferguson center for the arts where i spend a lot of my time on campus most of my theater classes are held in the rehearsal hall it's a great space that gives students plenty of room to make big acting choices and use our powerful stage voices theater cnu produces several shows a year in the ferguson center's theaters we use the studio theater for more intimate productions where the audience gets up close and personal with the stage the people's theater is used for larger productions that require more space to satisfy the performance requirements the ferguson center is also home to the renowned diamondstein concert hall where professional touring companies stand up comedians music ensembles and other excellent artists come to perform students get sweet discounts on tickets so keep an eye out for those i hope to see you around the ferguson center soon
