hey guys tony here so you know i love answering your questions this question came in through email what would i do if a patient does not have traditional medicare i'm all set up to submit claims to medicare part b through my mac portal do i need to apply to be a provider for each and every plan that's a medicare advantage plan such as anthem blue cross blue shield united health care all medicare advantage so yeah basically medicare part b is only medicare part b medicare advantage plans also called medicare replacement they are medicare part c you're not contracted with any of these providers automatically just because you're contracted with medicare part b so if you want to bill as an in-network provider with any of the medicare advantage plans you have to contract with them individually each one will have its own process for contracting some many will use ca qh pro view you can go to the website and check it out i'll put a link in the description of the video others will have you app
