Now there are 30 students [17 girls and 13 boys], in the class and only 16 [15 girls 1 boy] raise their hands, but its a democracy so the other 14 [2 girls 12 boys] must abide by the want of the 16. Not very fare to the Boys and in fact the Girls win every time there is a vote like this, that is what democracy looks like. In a Republic the 30 Students would be in groups Asian, Black, Caucasian, Latin etc. and each group would hold 1 vote, this way EVERY GROUP IS HEARD and though as in life, not every person will ALWAYS win an election, they at least can be heard and will win several elections… That is a Republic even the smallest group gets an equal voice; think Rhode Island or Montana as opposed to California or New York… every State [group] deserves a voice.Let’s work at getting a real education on your RIGHTS and who it is that has the POWERS in regard to these United States of America and maybe, just maybe, you could help save it from those trying to destroy it and enslave all its people…This is why those intelligent men and women worked to give us this document and the whole of the citizenry forced the Amendments to be added in; a few of those being the 1st (your right to speak against tyranny), 3rd government cannot just enter and take position in/on your property during time of peace, 4th Your right to protect and be secure in keeping your papers, possessions and things of value, 5th you cannot be falsely jailed, 6th you can not be held in jail indefinitely on just a charge of guilt and of course the one that enables you to protect all your rights and those of your family and friends…the 2ND AMENDMENTThink this through; the people were being overburdened by a government that only wanted to use and abuse them. A government that was spending out of control. They needed to break free of these virtual and many actual slave chains to give their family a chance of being free. Now I ask you, do you think they truly believed this was the only government to ever do this to its ‘subjects’? Do you think they believed no other greedy power hungry people would ever exist again that would want to take over their lives and wealth?
