Does consuming juice powder concentrates or vitamin pills decrease children's desire to eat fruit and vegetables?
My answer is yes. They are at a critical age right now. Either you slowly get them to eat vegetables and fruits now, or never. The older they get without eating vegetables and fruits, the less and less likely they are to eat those foods later in life.I know several adults who barely eat any vegetables or fruits, save the odd tomato slice in a burger or a banana once in a while. They all grew up without eating much vegetables or fruits, either because those foods were not consumed in their house, or mostly because they were fussy eaters and their parents had given up on them from a young age to try to get them to eat such foods. You know your kids better. I suggest slowly decreasing the juice powders and slowly increasing the fresh vegetables and fruits. Ask them which vegetables/fruits they like. Take them shopping and let them choose some of the fresh produce. If they are involved in the cutting/chopping/cooking process they are more likely to eat them. Give them a recipe book with beautiful color pics (or a website) and ask them to choose a vegetable dish which the whole family can make together. Those are just some ideas. Once their veggies/fruit consumption has increased from the level now, decrease the juice powders even more, until you get to only veggies/fruits and no juice powders and multivitamins.By the way, many studies have shown harm from multivitamin/mineral supplements in adults. Try to get nutrients from food instead of from tablets or syrups.Good luck.

Do military members have to pay any fee for leave or fiancee forms?
NOOOOOOO. You are talking to a military romance scammer. I received an email from the US Army that directly answers your question that is pasted below please keep reading.I believe you are the victim of a military Romance Scam whereas the person you are talking to is a foreign national posing as an American Soldier claiming to be stationed overseas on a peacekeeping mission. That's the key to the scam they always claim to be on a peacekeeping mission.Part of their scam is saying that they have no access to their money that their mission is highly dangerous. If your boyfriend girlfriend/future husband/wife is asking you to do the following or has exhibited this behavior, it is a most likely a scam:Moves to private messaging site immediately after meeting you on Facebook or SnapChat or Instagram or some dating or social media site. Often times they delete the site you met them on right after they asked you to move to a more private messaging siteProfesses love to you very quickly & seems to quote poems and song lyrics along with using their own sort of broken language, as they profess their love and devotion quickly. They also showed concern for your health and love for your family.Promises marriage as soon as he/she gets to state for leave that they asked you to pay for. They Requests money (wire transfers) and Amazon, iTune ,Verizon, etc gift cards, for medicine, religious practices, and leaves to come home, internet access, complete job assignments, help sick friend, get him out of trouble, or anything that sounds fishy. The military does provide all the soldier needs including food medical Care and transportation for leave. Trust me, I lived it, you are probably being scammed. I am just trying to show you examples that you are most likely being connned.Below is an email response I received after I sent an inquiry to the US government when I discovered I was scammed. I received this wonderful response back with lots of useful links on how to find and report your scammer. And how to learn more about Romance Scams.Right now you can also copy the picture he gave you and do a google image search and you will hopefully see the pictures of the real person he is impersonating. this doesn't always work and take some digging. if you find the real person you can direct message them and alert them that their image is being used for scamming.Good Luck to you and I'm sorry this may be happening to you. please continue reading the government response I received below it's very informative. You have contacted an email that is monitored by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command. Unfortunately, this is a common concern. We assure you there is never any reason to send money to anyone claiming to be a Soldier online. If you have only spoken with this person online, it is likely they are not a U.S. Soldier at all. How can I fill out Google's intern host matching form to optimize my chances of receiving a match?
I was selected for a summer internship 2016.I tried to be very open while filling the preference form: I choose many products as my favorite products and I said I'm open about the team I want to join.I even was very open in the location and start date to get host matching interviews (I negotiated the start date in the interview until both me and my host were happy.) You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience).Do a search on the potential team. Before the interviews, try to find smart question that you are going to ask for the potential host (do a search on the team to find nice and deep questions to impress your host). Prepare well your resume. You are very likely not going to get algorithm/data structure questions like in the first round. It's going to be just some friendly chat if you are lucky. If your potential team is working on something like machine learning, expect that they are going to ask you questions about machine learning, courses related to machine learning you have and relevant experience (projects, internship). Of course you have to study that before the interview. Take as long time as you need if you feel rusty. It takes some time to get ready for the host matching (it's less than the technical interview) but it's worth it of course.

How healthy is drinking fresh vegetable juice compared to eating vegetables?
It depends a lot on the juice, but I would at least somewhat wary around anything that uses carrot juice as a base. The most common forms of fresh vegetable juice seem to contain signNow amounts of either tomato juice (though tomatoes are actually a fruit that are calorically more like vegetables) or carrot juice. I've never heard of any other vegetable commonly used as a base (after all, has anyone ever heard of commercially available broccoli juice? or onion juice? or celery juice?)Carrots, to start out with, are somewhat high in calories for a vegetable (41 calories per 100 grams - only slightly lower than the 47 calories per 100 grams of oranges and much higher than the 18 grams of calories in tomatoes). A very good way to compare equal-mass calorie (or carb/sugar/etc) counts of any food is to google "calories in X g [FOOD]", where X could be any number.Unsweetened carrot juice has 70 calories per 240 mL/1 cup (or 100 calories in a single Odwalla bottle) [1]. Most of these calories (and almost all of its carbohydrates) come from sugar. Unsweetened carrot juice also hardly has any dietary fiber at all. And it's important to note that carrots can also have a rather high glycemic index - that probably is only worsened when converted into carrot juice.Carrots, on the other hand, have around ~50% of their carbohydrates that come from sugar [2]. They also have signNowly more dietary fiber than carrot juice. Certainly - there's something that is lost in processing carrots into carrot juice.Unsweetened Odwalla fruit juice contains 170 calories in a single Odwalla bottle (Mo’ Beta Drink | Odwalla) - most of these calories being dominated by sugar. Fruit juices are generally something that I'd call highly unhealthy and would avoid whenever possible [3]. So basically, I would only consume carrot juice in moderation. While carrot juice is very high in Vitamin A, you don't need to consume much to get more than you need (and too much Vitamin A can be bad for your bones if you don't have very much Vitamin D). Now, what about tomato juice? Tomato juice contains 41 calories per 243 mL of juice, so it contains signNowly fewer calories than both carrot juice and fruit juice in general. Most of the calories in tomato juice also come from sugars too, and most of the dietary fiber is lost. But at least the 9 grams of sugar in 1 cup/240g of tomato juice is signNowly less than the 21 grams of sugar in 1 cup of orange juice (carrot juice has 13 grams of sugar per cup). Meanwhile, regular tomatoes have 6.3 grams of sugar per 240 grams of tomato. One good thing about tomato juice is that it contains lycopene, which is more bioavailable when the tomatoes are processed (as they are in juice). While it would be difficult to consider tomato juice to be any healthier than regular tomatoes, tomato juice is probably healthier than carrot juice, and I wouldn't be too concerned about drinking it in larger quantities. As for the nutritional value of other types of vegetable juices - it becomes a lot more difficult to compare and to separate out the effects of the other vegetable juices from the tomato/carrot base. It's possible that tomato juice/carrot juice bases have been used because they may be sweeter than other vegetables that could potentially be used as a vegetable juice base, but this sweetness probably isn't good for you. There are certainly other macronutrients that could come in vegetables - some which might be more easily absorbed from the vegetable itself, and others that might be more easily absorbed once the vegetable is processed. At this moment it's difficult to find credible resources about whether or not this would factor into our estimates of how healthy the vegetable juice is relative to the vegetable. There's certainly a lot of misinformation on this online. In any case, vegetables are often healthy precisely because they help fill one up (much of it the result of the dietary fiber destroyed by processing juice), and people who consume vegetables often end up consuming fewer calories than those who don't consume vegetables. People also tend to gain less weight when they eat more slowly, and eating vegetables (as opposed to drinking them) is a way to eat more slowly. In fact I sometimes wonder if reduced calorie consumption explains most of the benefits of increased vegetable consumption.Vegetable juices probably don't fill you up as much as regular vegetables do, but at least they're much better than other drinks. And as for commonly available drinks, tomato juice is really the only drink that I'd consider to be almost as healthy as water - and it still fills you up a bit better than water does. Perhaps there will soon be a time when there will be commercially-available vegetable juices that don't destroy much of the fiber.(I haven't analyzed sodium content here, as I'm assuming that fresh vegetable juice means that salt hasn't been added).[1] Bolthouse: 100% Carrot Odwalla: Carrot Juice | Odwalla[2] Carrots, raw [Includes USDA commodity food A099][3] See Eating whole fruits linked to lower risk of type 2 diabetesPeople who ate at least two servings each week of certain whole fruits — particularly blueberries, grapes, and apples — reduced their risk for type 2 diabetes by as much as 23% in comparison to those who ate less than one serving per month. Conversely, those who consumed one or more servings of fruit juice each day increased their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by as much as 21%. The researchers found that swapping three servings of juice per week for whole fruits would result in a 7% reduction in diabetes risk.(though "at least two servings a week of certain whole fruits" is really small compared with "one or more servings of fruit juice each day").As carrot juice has fairly high glycemic index (~86), I would expect its effects to be in the same direction as fruit juices, though perhaps somewhat smaller.
