In my home state, Kerala, there are measures of submitting an online application in Akshaya centres ( specially setup by the state Govt. for these kind of services). I dont know whether your state has something like this.But there is a proforma which is available, and to be submitted to the respective village/Tahsildar’s office for verification. You may have to supply addition documents or proof as well.

You have to pay HUD back the portion of the unused rent.You will almost certainly not be able to get the landlord to pay you back. Rent is not prorated on a day-to-day basis, but HUD’s willingness to pay it will be.
