okay so we're going to start with uh sets of real numbers i don't think this is going to be high intensity note taking when what i tell students at the beginning of the semester is i don't want you to just be scribes okay i typically tell you what to write down i know that this stuff is being recorded um but if you're just scribe you're writing everything write everything right everything then you're not thinking and a lot of this stuff especially starting out should just be stuff we can think about and go yep that's all i needed that's all i need i don't have to write everything down so if i were going to take notes and i were going to write anything down i would go ahead and title it section b1 we're only going to do section b1 out of the appendix um and then you know we'll get some notes as we go the first thing we are going to take a look at is the set of real numbers don't write all of this down if you write anything down i would write i would scratch out some notes from this tabl
