I chose Lance day because Lynx day has a really great program in social work I love the fact that it's really hands-on the professors are very very helpful our mission at the Wayne State school social work means a lot to me and the students that I work with because we try to connect what's happening locally with what's happening globally I've been able to work with some of the game-changing organizations and Metro Detroit and that includes focus hope and Soulard arity a grassroots energy justice program and the school as a whole has great relationships throughout the city the support staff here is awesome the advisors the faculty and the Social Work program have really been great a lot of our students are going to be practicing from that theoretical perspective so it's important for them to really be aware of how they are going to meet the mission of social work ethics and values in the practice we try to recruit and retain a diverse student body and we also try to do that with the fac
