you [Music] hello I'm Doug branch Vega America's nuclear product manager we're in the Vega America's Learning Center lab looking at our multi point density array system or MDA MDA systems are ideal for use in vessels where it's important to monitor liquids of varying densities particularly in applications where an emulsion layer is present here's how it works inside this vessel is a dry well and inside that dry well are radioactive sources each source pairs with one of these detectors mounted horizontally on the outside of the vessel each detector outputs an individual density measurement to the end users distributed control system or DCs based on the amount of radiation that reaches it from the source inside paired with a user-friendly display on the dcs the MDA system delivers accurate density information from each detector so operators have a clear picture of how liquids are behaving inside of the vessel in our case we're mixing oil and water as you can see on the display oil repres
