ITR form required to be submitted depends upon nature of income. As a NRI shall generally have income from other sources like interest, rental income therefore s/he should file ITR 2.

During 2013-14, in the run up to General elections, there was a very popular ad compaign by the BJP think tank. "Achche din" were promised by our beloved Modi ji and finally after a long wait of 4.5 years, "achche din" have arrived.  Before expressing my views on the possible impact on CGL 18, allow me to share our plight first. Honourable supreme court was right when it said that it is was tough to catch all the culprits. Fine. We agree with your views. But why the hell it took 8 months to arrive on this conclusion? If you wanted to scrap the exam, why didn't you do it till now? I understand that enquiry took this much time and scrapping the exam would be in favour of "youth" of India but still it hurts. Next thing, what's the guarantee that the re exam will be conducted by fair means? What if cheating takes place again? What if the exam is solved by remote sensing again? So many things, so many questions, so many confusions and no definite answer to any of these. I was teaching a few tenth class students today evening and I felt like crying in the middle of the class. Somehow I controlled myself and continued with that heavy heart. I just want to run away from all this mess. I had been a strong believer of hard work but all this drama suggests only one thing, that the life is not fair. Sometimes I feel angry with myself for falling in this trap of "easy" job. Sometimes I curse myself for getting attracted to that "inspector" rank. I had planned to prepare for higher and tougher exams once I get settled but that seems to be a distant dream now.. For CGL 18 candidates, I want to psignNow a few things. If you have any other option apart from CGL then please go for that. This commission, this government, this system no one cares for us. Go for banking exams or MBA or MSc or anything that you can do. If you want to stick to CGL then be ready to face mental trauma. There is no guarantee that CGL 18 will be conducted by fair means. There is no timeline when the exam will take place. If both the tiers of CGL 17 are cancelled then you can be pretty sure of your tier 1 not taking place before June next year. And if there is any irregularity in exam process in your case too then proceedings will be dragged further. You aren't going to get joining before june 2020 in any case, so be cautious in what you are doing. I would strongly advise you to prepare for banking exams too. In January-February next year, there will be some bank exams where you will undergo 9-12 months post graduate diploma in Manipal institute before joining as PO. Competition is not that ruthless in those exams (owing to fee involved) and those can be cleared comparatively easily. Do whatever you can do but just don't commit the mistake of solely depending on SSC CGL 2018. . P.S. :- Let me answer a few questions which are sure to be asked in comment section :-For भक़्त (bhakts) who will be reading my answer :- I am blaming our "beloved" Modi ji because of his strange decisions. He granted extension to Mr Aashim khurana ji despite visible irregularities in conduction of tier 2 exam. Our generally eloquent PM didn't even utter a single word regarding SSC when such a huge protest was going on with full force in Delhi earlier this year. I know he cares too much for our youth and I totally agree with you when you say that he is the best Prime Minister "this whole world" has ever had but still this situation could've been handled better. I totally agree with you when you say that congress is at fault here. And one last thing, मंदिर वहीं बनाएंगे (translation- we will construct temple there only).I got selected in home ministry around 4 months back but I haven't joined yet. It's a decent job but my plans were different. And whatever little score I got till tier 2 was more than sufficient for my plan but who cares. My situation is still relatively better than most of the CGL 2017 candidates but still it hurts when 14-15 months of hard work goes to gutters.I usually try to write answers to the best of my capabilities but I didn't have enough equanimity to write this one. As we all know ssc has announced to finalise the vendor on 8 November. If ssc finalises the vendor on the given date, the exam will be conducted soon. As we also know that ssc is being active these days. It has already given application status of some of the reagions. Soon we will also get it of ours. Now a days it is being said that exam can be conducted in the last of faburary and the first week of march. If everything goes according to plan then admit card would be realised in the first week of faburary.An another point was we do really have this CGL 2018. Yes, it will definately be. Nothing matters how late it is but the exam would be held.It's time to be focused on our study. We only have three months to go all in. Don't get distract by irrelevant news. Be calm. Be composed.
