(energetic music) - Hi, my name is La'Nae Jackson, and I'm a third year psychology and African and African-American studies double-major. I focus on courses that pertain to African-American culture societies in history, so contemporary or historical. An outstanding class that I took was, I would say, is AS10. That class was the first time that I had ever held a textbook about black American history, that I had ever even experienced black American history in that way, to that depth, and that's only the beginning. That is the class that I think will really let you know if this major is something that really speaks to you. It definitely spoke to me.
