welcome everybody my name is hogo Hornes and I'm the manager for intelligence systems at pepper and fuks today I will show you how to replace the K4 compact safety controller on an as interface safety atw work Network for this demonstration we're going to assume that this K4 safety controller is faulty and needs to be replaced by this unit I've already removed its memory card and the terminals that I will have to move over from the old to the new unit here's the procedure remove all the terminals then lightly click on the memory card and remove it from the old unit inserting it into the replacement unit take the filed K4 off the D Rail and remount the replacement insert all the terminal connections the memory card will be red and the controller is ready to run if after applying power you see this led pattern you know that the replacement unit was not actually Fresh Off The Shelf but already had a safety configuration this will not work a replacement unit must have an empty memory in or
