I don’t know why you gave him the title or allowed that because that sounds like a real hassle because you have no proof of ownership, unless you have a copy or did DMV already. Since you didn’t I would suggest talking and or visiting DMV. But wait…. Did you already add/ have your own insurance on it? That could help you. You need plates so I assume oh didn’t have your own plates on the vehicle right? Or did you and the DMV messed something up? I can’t tell since I don’t know the whole story.
