How can I become a British royal guard?
Join the British Army (BA).To do that you must become a British Citizen. The naturalization process takes five years, meaning you must live in Britain five years and presumably hold a job. After becoming a British citizen, you join the BA go thru training, and request the Guards, which then decide whether to take you. A lot of risks and uncertainties between you now and your goal. There is a lot of drill training. And you should like standing guard, parading around. You must adopt the right attitude towards authority and learn to thrive in a very picky outfit. Great uniform though, but you cannot wear the parade version off post.Unlike some countries, the US’s whose armed forces take people from any number of foreign and often backwards nations, then lets them become citizens afterwards.

How do I ride a horse?
Very carefully, and with a helmet on. In all seriousness, it is a difficult thing to do properly without some instruction. It is a bit different from other sports because there is the physical skill part, and the communication with another living being with it’s own personality & opinions part. That said, there are a few things I can tell you here. Stand up straight, then spread your legs apart and squat/ bend your legs while you remains standing, with your upper body upright. Keeping your elbows at your side, lift your hands to waist height. That is an approximation of roughly how you should be positioned on a horse. Know that while on a horse, there should ideally be a vertical straight line from your head, spine, back, seat & ankle. If the horse were to magically disappear, you should land on your feet in this position. This is the posture that will allow you to best balance when coping with the movement of a horse, and there is a LOT of movement.Speaking of the horse, one talks to the horse with your body. Horses speak TOUCH. A horse is so sensitive to touch that it can feel the legs of a fly land on it. An animal that sensitive, may understandably consider your attempts at contact to be assault if you are not gentle. Everything you do, means something to them in their language. While there is a saddle and a bridle to help you, you should refrain from any kicking or pulling, and only send touch signals that you understand and are doing deliberately. That is why instruction is so important. Horses are not motorcycles or appliances, they feel everything, including our moods. In addition, they have real personalities and moods of their own. When you are riding a horse, you are having a conversation where you are requesting and negotiating to get the responses you want. As a beginning rider, it is all about proper positioning of your body, and learning to absorb and roll with all of the horse’s movement as a passenger. As one becomes better, one learns to direct the horses movement. I hope this gives you a little perspective, as it is impossible to actually tell you how to ride a horse in less than a thousand pages.

The House just passed a bill requiring all gun sales to be accompanied by background checks, 240-190. Are you for or against this legislation?
Might as well spit into the wind for all the good it will do.For it to work people will have to observe the law. In Washington and Oregon, similar laws are already on the books. The majority of the county sheriffs have publicly stated they will not enforce the law. Further the average citizen has to obey it - who will find an FFL during his business hours, pay the fees for the check, to loan his fully legal brother a gun for Sunday afternoon? Then perhaps have to repeat the process, and fees, some hours later?Obeying any law is voluntary. Yes, there is always a possible “or else” to not obeying, but the actual act to obey or not is voluntary. When a law is onerous, unconstitutional, or downright stupid, we ignore it. This will be one such law if by some miracle it gets past the Senate and Trump doesn’t veto it.Those who we really NEED to obey the law categorically won’t. They don’t obey current laws, and certainly won’t obey the new one. I mean the criminals out there. In 2010 just 48,000 felons tried to get a gun through background checks, out of 14.4 MILLION such checks. That’s .33 percent of checks. That’s 1/3 of 1 percent…! Plus of those, just 44 were prosecuted for it. Criminals just do not go through background checks. There is essentially no penalty if they do.https://www.washingtonpost.com/b...https://www.fbi.gov/file-reposit...Criminals have rap sheets for a reason, same reason ordinary citizens don’t. Now and again they get caught.Ordinary citizens don’t do anything to get caught for. So what good will it do to create a law for which ordinary citizens aren’t a problem in the first place, and criminals will, yet again, just not observe?

Do military members have to pay any fee for leave or fiancee forms?
NOOOOOOO. You are talking to a military romance scammer. I received an email from the US Army that directly answers your question that is pasted below please keep reading.I believe you are the victim of a military Romance Scam whereas the person you are talking to is a foreign national posing as an American Soldier claiming to be stationed overseas on a peacekeeping mission. That's the key to the scam they always claim to be on a peacekeeping mission.Part of their scam is saying that they have no access to their money that their mission is highly dangerous. If your boyfriend girlfriend/future husband/wife is asking you to do the following or has exhibited this behavior, it is a most likely a scam:Moves to private messaging site immediately after meeting you on Facebook or SnapChat or Instagram or some dating or social media site. Often times they delete the site you met them on right after they asked you to move to a more private messaging siteProfesses love to you very quickly & seems to quote poems and song lyrics along with using their own sort of broken language, as they profess their love and devotion quickly. They also showed concern for your health and love for your family.Promises marriage as soon as he/she gets to state for leave that they asked you to pay for. They Requests money (wire transfers) and Amazon, iTune ,Verizon, etc gift cards, for medicine, religious practices, and leaves to come home, internet access, complete job assignments, help sick friend, get him out of trouble, or anything that sounds fishy. The military does provide all the soldier needs including food medical Care and transportation for leave. Trust me, I lived it, you are probably being scammed. I am just trying to show you examples that you are most likely being connned.Below is an email response I received after I sent an inquiry to the US government when I discovered I was scammed. I received this wonderful response back with lots of useful links on how to find and report your scammer. And how to learn more about Romance Scams.Right now you can also copy the picture he gave you and do a google image search and you will hopefully see the pictures of the real person he is impersonating. this doesn't always work and take some digging. if you find the real person you can direct message them and alert them that their image is being used for scamming.Good Luck to you and I'm sorry this may be happening to you. please continue reading the government response I received below it's very informative. You have contacted an email that is monitored by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command. Unfortunately, this is a common concern. We assure you there is never any reason to send money to anyone claiming to be a Soldier online. If you have only spoken with this person online, it is likely they are not a U.S. Soldier at all. How can I train a horse not to freak out while shooting while riding?
Training a horse to do anything is all about habituation. You expose the horse to whatever you want to train it to ignore or not be rattled by repeatedly until you get the desired result.Bear in mind that not all horses can be habituated to all things — naturally nervous, high-strung individuals will never be able to stand like a rock while shooting from their back. They just don’t have it in them to bear loud noises orginated from their backs. Don’t blame the horse for this.NEVER PUNISH YOUR HORSE FOR FLINCHING OR SHYING DURING THIS PROCESS. You’re habituating him to a loud, frightening noise that is not natural, and punishing him for trying to get away from the sound will only reinforce in his mind that it is something to avoid. Speak calming and soothingly to your horse during the gunfire, let him know that you’re in his corner for this scary experience, and that you won’t let anything happen to him. Pet him and stroke him during the gunshots. Let him smell the air and inspect the person who is the shooter. Let him get used to the smell of gunfire. Patience, kindness and a low-key response is the key to getting a horse used to gunfire. The best way to train a horse to stand for gunfire is to start by leading the horse around while gunfire is going on in the distance. When the horse stops startling at the gunfire, saddle it and ride it with the distant gunfire. When your horse is accustomed to the distant gunfire under saddle as well as on the ground, bring the gunfire closer. Habituation to gunfire from the ground is going to proceed very quickly from here, because the horse is already familiar with the sound; it’s just the volume and smell that are changing.Once your horse is calm and ignores the nearby gunfire, it’s time to habituate him or her to gunfire close by. Stand with the horse as the person firing blanks (please, no falling bullets) comes closer and closer until the gunfire can happen right next to the horse and he doesn’t react. He might flinch, but that’s normal — even humans start when a gun is fired near them.Once your horse is an Old Trouper about gunfire in his vicinity, you can move to gunfire from his back. I hope you’re a good rider, because Horse is going to Not Like gunfire from his back. If he shies and really objects, go back to firing from the ground very close to the horse until he stands quietly again.Bear in mind some horses will never tolerate gunfire from their backs, and you’ll have to dismount to shoot. You could try firing across the horse’s back until he no longer shies, then move to saddle shooting. That could get him habituated to the sound of gunfire from the vicinity of his back.I don’t know why you want a horse you can shoot from — that’s your business. But if you’re patient, calm, soothing, and proceed in a low key manner, you’ll end up with a horse you can at least shoot around, if not from.Good luck.

How can I fill out Google's intern host matching form to optimize my chances of receiving a match?
I was selected for a summer internship 2016.I tried to be very open while filling the preference form: I choose many products as my favorite products and I said I'm open about the team I want to join.I even was very open in the location and start date to get host matching interviews (I negotiated the start date in the interview until both me and my host were happy.) You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience).Do a search on the potential team. Before the interviews, try to find smart question that you are going to ask for the potential host (do a search on the team to find nice and deep questions to impress your host). Prepare well your resume. You are very likely not going to get algorithm/data structure questions like in the first round. It's going to be just some friendly chat if you are lucky. If your potential team is working on something like machine learning, expect that they are going to ask you questions about machine learning, courses related to machine learning you have and relevant experience (projects, internship). Of course you have to study that before the interview. Take as long time as you need if you feel rusty. It takes some time to get ready for the host matching (it's less than the technical interview) but it's worth it of course.

Horse riding and horses, has anybody trained themselves to ride without having to take formal horse back riding lessons?
Yes, I did learn without taking formal horse back riding lessons.I started learning on a little pony, then moved to a old mare. I learnt in the country side. I started with walking and trotting. The pony was, I believe, not really trained. Maybe green. But I didn’t know it back then. So it was bucking and I fell a lot, but it was small, so the falls were not dramatic. I first galloped with that pony, on my own, all alone, when I felt ready for it. I made up obstacles with wood and straw. I jumped 70cm with that pony, which is quite a lot considering her size. Then I started to ride a mare, and I was free to ride big distances. I first rode bareback in the open, and galloped with her. I started getting bitless too. I rode on a beach on my own too. I was a young teenager and took initiatives. When I felt I was ready for something, I tried it and I learnt a lot. Later, I took riding lessons, but I learnt how to ride and basics on my own. I had more confidence than others and could deal with difficult situations with less stress. Here is the pony I rode as I was youngNow I cannot give an exact tutorial on how I learnt. I was experiencing, I was in total liberty, no adults around to freak out and over protect me. They trust me, let me go out with the horses and have fun. I didn’t have any plan to learn, I just wanted to have fun. Probably I took risks a few times, but eh, I never got hurt, and most importantly, I never got my horse injured.
