You can consider my reasons to choose SCU but you can also ignore them because they are my reasons.1. SCU was hidden by USNews because it's a master-level university and based on USNews Ranking Category Methodology, only doctor-level university can participate in National College Rankings. SCU cannot offer enough PhD degrees per year, so it was a master-level university in the past and couldn't participate in National College Rankings. However, new Carnegie Classification has changed the category method, and SCU is classified as "Doctoral/Professional University" for the first time. On 2019, SCU will participate in USNews College Rankings, which will also bring national attention and even world attention.2. SCU located in Silicon Valley. The location of high-tech attracts not only clever students but also professors. Job opportunity in Silicon Valley is huge.3. SCU has good endowments. It is constructing new 285-million-dollar STEM campus (Sobrato Campus for Discovery and Innovation) and new Athletic Excellence Center (Athletic Excellence on the Rise). And one student dormitory will be completed.4. SCU is searching new president and new dean of School of Engineering. Currently, interim dean of School of Engineering is Jon C Strauss (Santa Clara University appoints interim Dean for School of Engineering), who served the 4th president of Harvey Mudd College, and vice president Dennis C. Jacobs served the vice president of University of Notre Dame from 2004 to 2011 (https://www.linkedin.com/in/denn...) . Therefore, the new leadership of SCU should be among the top few.Santa Clara University has been improved a lot in the last 10 years. It’s still on the rising. I would like to give you some facts, so you can see the answer by yourself:Santa Clara University ranks No.64 in Forbes College Ranking(America's Top Colleges). Emory University ranks 66th. University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill ranks 68th. UIUC ranks 69th.The quality of class faculties is also improved signNowly. I give you an example using Electrical Engineering Master Program in SCU (Other departments in Santa Clara University are also good). I screenshot these courses schedule: Joseph W is a previous faculty in Caltech. He teaches Deep Learning and Computer Vision courses in Santa Clara University. Kitts Christopher is Stanford Alumni and the research advisor of Carol Reiley, the wife of Andrew Ng. He teaches Robotics to Electrical Engineering master students. Dr. Dutta Santanu graduated from Princeton University and a Bell and Fillips scientist. He teaches VLSI course in Santa Clara University. Dr. Ogunfunmi Tokunbo is a visiting professor in Stanford University and he teaches Self-driving car course to Electrical Engineering master students in Santa Clara University. Dr. Sally Wood is an IEEE Fellow and Stanford alumni. She teaches Digital Image Processing course to Electrical Engineering students in Santa Clara University. Some other professors are also good but I don’t have time to search their profiles.3. SCU has a big ambition. They have 2020 plans and is also going to construct a new campus, “Sobrato Campus for Discovery and Innovation”. After that, SCU may go to or beyond national university.The university is on the rising. What you need to do is waiting patiently. The university will become one of the top schools in the US in the next 3 or 4 years.

Santa Clara University is a good, well respected school. The campus is in a beautiful location and is convenient to San Jose, the Silicon Valley and San Francisco. It is also very near to San Jose International Airport and public transportation. MS degrees from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University will be a good foundation for future education and employment. Santa Clara University’s convenience location within Silicon Valley will also make a practical foundation for moving from school to business without having to change locations.

I found it valuable.  I enjoyed it.What Aakash say goes for me as well.I generally recommend you work in industry for 5-10 years before you do an MBA.  An MBA program is NOT a cookbook degree.  Much of what you learn has very specific application rather than general application and you have to have some common sense to know when to use what.  The worst of "MBA evil" comes from imagining it's a cookbook.

Here's a couple of my favorites:Alum Rock Park. Nestled in the east side foothills, it has gorgeous scenery and plenty of hiking.The Sierra Road to Calaveras Road loop. A lovely drive through the foothills. For a longer scenic drive,  take Calaveras road all the way to Sunol.Winchester Mystery House. Not secret nor hidden, but did you know the exterior garden tour is free? Have an hour to kill and you just need some eye candy, skip the tour  and just walk the grounds.Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum. Again, not a hidden spot, but definitely something every San Josean should check out. What you may not be as familiar with however is the...Bigfoot Discovery Museum! You'll have to go all the way to Felton for this one but it's an entire museum (well... Two smallish rooms) packed with artifacts and curios dedicated to the legend of Sasquatch! Oak Hill Memorial Park. While a visit to a cemetery may  not be for everyone, this massive cemetery has some famous residents (San Jose pioneers, surviving  members of the Donner Party, Brooke Harte and his family of the famous "Swift Justice" lynchings) as well as some of the best views of downtown from atop the hill. The Great Mausoleum is spectacular.
