John Crichton I'm a cardiovascular surgeon the only thing I've ever wanted to do sort of thing he got exposed to early on in medical school and I thought it was very interesting and intriguing and it's something I chased for the next 15-20 years until I got good at it everything is connected you know it's all part of the same system the same person but you know without the heart nothing else goes it really is the the motor that makes the rest of the engine run you know without it you can't get anywhere you can't do anything I was looking for an opportunity in a place that's still expanding and has a growing population it's as good if not better than anyplace else in the state the results are outstanding they're in the highest percentiles both regionally in the state of Virginia as well as nationally part of the reason I'm here is to try to expand it into some other areas that are sort of the up-and-coming areas in cardiovascular surgery in general there's been a long slow progression o
