hi this is assessment of the ears and the eyes we're going to start with assessment of visual acuity which is cranial nerve number two and we're going to do this by using the Snellen chart when we use the snow and I turn the patient its position twenty feet away from the chart and we ask the patient then to state and read whichever line is the lowest line that he can breathe so how can you read the lowest line that you can see clearly here for me sure I'm going to read off line number eight okay [Music] see okay and then can you cover one eye cover your right eye and then read with your left eye and then do the other eye I'm gonna read the one above it okay F L o P Z and D wonderful okay so on the chart what it shows us is that with his left eye his vision was 20/20 meaning that he can read at 20 feet with the normal eye can see at 20 feet and with the right eye his vision was 25 meaning that he can read at 20 feet what the normal I would see at 25 feet and that concludes the central v
