good morning everyone i'm larry welch for the texas asphalt pavement association and chuck fuller here we're going to get started on our webinar today's webinar will be best practices for compaction and rolling patterns we will take questions at the end of our webinar so if you will uh write something down and we'll ask questions we'll unmute everyone and uh we'll have that done all right we're going to go ahead and get started uh again this is put on by the texas asphalt pavement association and we appreciate every everybody that's called in today all right best practices for compaction is what we'll start about we'll start on first you can see the picture there's a lot of action going on so let's talk about this our compaction goals our density smoothness and high stability to allow us to use these pavements for the traveling public we have to do them correctly and we want long lasting pavements that are durable so this compaction is one of our key elements in getting this durability
