hi welcome to the fm orientation my name is scott collins i am the fmcc registrar and i'm here today to talk about transferring credit from other colleges to fault montgomery community college if you've taken classes at another college and you want to have those classes applied towards your transcript and degree requirements at fm you would need to have an official copy of your transcript from that college sent to fm to have that be evaluated and applied to your academic transcript as transfer credit while having an unofficial transcript for another college could actually be helpful in planning your coursework at fm with an academic advisor you will need to have an official copy sent directly from the college that you previously attended to the registrar's office in order for us to do that evaluation fm will accept official electronic transcripts if they're sent directly from the other college's registrar's office to the fm registrar's email address and that email address is registrar
