The unique problems faced by men and boys are being, at the very least, talked about more and more often in the public square without having someone start shouting about how men don't have issues and the only real issues are with women.In addition, more and more people are realizing that there is something seriously wrong with modern feminism and that its time to try a different direction than what has been tried (and what has been failing) for the past 30 years or so.This growth in awareness of men's issues isn't really surprising when you realize that there is a clear and logical basis for complaint about most of these issues, that "men's rights" isn't just code-word slang for "misogyny" no matter what the Tumblr feminists want you to believe, and that something really, really should be done about these problems.But... unfortunately... that's just about as far as it goes when it comes to actually doing anything about these issues. Acknowledging that they exist.When you stop talking about how these issues are problems, and start asking people what they are willing to do to correct these issues, a silence arises that is almost chilling. Such discussions are invariably met with disappointing evasiveness from the rank and file.You see, after that initial, vocal show of support, things get a little... problematic.Nobody can argue with the logic that shows, clearly, that a particular men's issue is a problem. Even those people who don't normally even consider that a campaign for men's rights is needed will agree, once the problem is explained, that yes, something definitely needs to be done about it. People agree with this even if only so they don't look as foolish as someone who denies evolution or climate change.So instead of openly disagreeing, these problem-deniers begin tacking on clauses and conditions to their agreement. These pseudo-supporters will begin to add buts and ifs to their agreement. Sure, they'll say, something needs to be done, but only in very specific ways. In very specific, pro-feminist ways.Take is idea of a “Paper abortion”, for example.A paper abortion would give a man the same right to knowingly terminate parental rights and responsibilities as women currently enjoy. It would allow a man to disavow anything to do with an undesired child, just like the right to abortion does for a woman. That's all. It gives men the same freedom of choice in regards to becoming a parent that is currently enjoyed by all women in America.That’s all it would do. It wouldn’t remove any woman’s right to choose, whether she’s choosing to keep or abort. All it does is prevent her for forcing the consequences of her choice on a man who does not want those consequences. Such a law would prevent men from being forced to pay child support for children who are not even genetically related to them, and prevent female rapists from demanding support from their male victims, for children fathered by such rapes.When this issue is raised, most fair-minded people will agree that men shouldn't be forced into parenthood against their will. What inevitably follows, though, is usually some variation of "... as long as it wouldn't allow men to duck out on their responsibilities."And at that point, all meaningful conversation about the issue ends. Reasonable discussion stops on a dime.Most people, especially self-identified feminists, will politely agree that, yes, something needs to be done, and then will shut down the conversation with a tagged on condition that serves only to throw the issue into confusion and require finer and finer parsing of the legal details of just how such reform will be implemented. Its a stalling tactic used solely to derail anything actually being done about an issue into an endless side argument on how something should be done.Its fear-mongering, and that's all. But then, fear-mongering is the traditional defense feminism uses against men's rights. They don't provide actual counter-arguments. Just boogeymen hiding under the bed. As in:"If you change this law, which everyone knows is unfair and discriminatory, the boogeyman will get you!"If this is the best counter-argument to reform that organized feminism can come up with, then organized feminism's position is obviously paper thin. There is no viable counter-argument, and so organized feminism has to resort to stalling tactics, and shaming tactics, and to slowing down progress with needless objections. Its little more than the social reform version of filibustering.Would a poorly written Paper Abortion law occasionally allow deadbeats to abuse the system? It is possible.My question in response is this: So what?The existence of the occasional asshole is no reason to refuse to install a Paper Abortion law that would assist those millions of men who aren't deadbeats. Repeatedly raising these false concerns does nothing but harm men who have done nothing to earn being harmed other than being born male.Blocking social reform with cries of concern over the fallout of that reform is the traditional weapon of those too entrenched in their own privilege. People who raise such quibbles may not openly oppose men’s rights, but they are not true supporters and will continue to drag their feet every step of the way.

I never easily get the seats in a metro station.Everytime I allow the senior citizens or the differently abled persons to occupy my seat.But on the rare occasions where I get a seat while waiting for the AC metro, some random lady (completely normal) approaches towards my seat so confidently that I feel very awkward. Made only for fun.I know how much you hate those creepy messages.There are atleast 10 guys like us waiting in a line to propose a girl.But can you find 10 girls to propose a simple middle class guy with a family pack earning average in a month? Well a point he is not at all socially representable too.You can only find one or two girls.A girl constantly gives her number to a guy.The guy randomly sexts a her.She blocks her.The guy makes multiple fake accounts.She blocks them too.Now a passionate one woman boy sort of guy proposes her and requests her number.She reminds every other female friends of her that never trust a guy easily and don't give mobile number.And for the misdeed of a guy fifty more nice guys suffers.All guys are not same.I accidentally asked a female quoran (who is also a good dancer) that what is her waist size as I had the curiosity of a dancer's waist.I thought we were good friends as we chatted quite few days plus I love watching dance. She told me a lot about dance and so I asked that what is the average waist size of a dancer girl and what is yours.And she thought me creepy. Going anonymous because the other person involved could get into trouble.That I had slept with my philosophy teacher in high school.It was the last year of high school and we were all 18 or 19… this teacher was 27, looking maybe 1 or 2 years older than us, and all the guys had a major crush on her (a very petite girl with brown hair and dark blue eyes).We were on a 5 days field trip in the mountains to visit some places of interest of the First World War (it was part of an instructional project that the Italian Army had decided to open… I don’t know if it is still working).Anyway… you know how it goes on the last night of a field trip… older students are cut loose.I happened not to have any more money (maybe I had around the equivalent of 5 bucks) so I couldn’t go with the others who were drinking in one of the couple bars around the village.I was hanging around the village streets with a couple others when we ran into our philosophy teacher. She joined us and we ended up sitting on some benches near a fountain and talking.The teacher was quite worried about me… back in those years I was… difficult. I was a huge pothead, I didn’t give a damn about school, I wasn’t interested in my classes and in the average 18 years old social life.So this teacher did something that was new for me. She put aside school and asked me what was the matter. We ended up talking… talking for real if you get what I mean.We got so engaged in our talk that we began walking and got separated from the group.By 3 a.m. we were talking on familiar terms, on first name basis and using diminutives of our names.She told me of her life as I told her of mine… technically we became friends.And then we noticed it was almost dawn so we went back to the hotel to get some sleep.I ended up getting to the room I was sharing with a couple other guys at 5 a.m.The gossip telling that our teacher and me had disappeared during that night spread in the next school days and when we had a class the other students noticed we had shared something beyond the average teacher-student relationship and we were not talking on formal terms.In a week the legend I had sex with her went raging around the school even if I denied it.I added philosophy in the classes I cared to follow and study, a superstition spread at school that being interrogated in philosophy together with me or immediately after me brought to one or two added points in the evaluation… I don’t think it was true, but whatever.She didn’t get into any trouble as far as I know.

I would consider myself eligible to answer this question. My parents are working and I have an elder sister who is 3 years elder to me. I was very good at grasping things fast. But, I was really bad at mugging up things and that's how it started.My dad used to teach me all the subjects except mathematics (As my mom is a mathematics teacher and my dad wasn't very good at it). I literally used to beg my mom to teach me.My dad has hit me with his leather belt, slippers, shoes, stick, steel scale for not being able to remember things.My mom burnt my thigh with a hot steel rod because I lied about something. I wasn't even 10 back then.I've had marks of being beaten up for days, even weeks at times.My sister was beaten up in front of our house by my dad because she went to a friend's house (whom she considered as her brother and my parents knew about it). He used to live just 200m away.We were not allowed to play in the streets until it's a power cut or we are done with our finals and waiting for our results.Once we were playing with the kids who lived in the same street, my dad had asked us to stop playing by 7pm and come back home. My sister went inside around 6:30pm as she was tired. I forgot about the time and I was locked outside as a punishment till 9pm. My mom was worried and checked on me from the window. She wanted to let me in but, my dad warned her not to.My parents were never impressed with my or my sister's academics. Even when we actually did something good, they never appreciated us.And how these things backfired us?We became introvert.We stopped meeting, talking to people and our parents love that.My sister is 25 now and I will be 23 in 2 months. But, we still have to ask everything from our dad. Even if we want to go to the shop nearby to buy bread.My sister earns now. But, my dad has complete power over her bank balance. Even if she has to buy a dress, she has to ask him.We don't share our problems with our dad anymore. Unless we need something financially.We haven't travelled alone ever. My parents got paranoid about me going to New Delhi for the coaching. They tried their best to convince me. But, I wanted to leave for good.My parents have given us every materialistic thing we have asked for. They seek our advice about everything. Years ago I worked at document management company.  There is cool software that can automate aspects of hand-written forms.  We had an airport as a customer - they scanned plenty and (as I said before) this was several years ago...On your airport customs forms, the "boxes" that you 'need' to write on - are basically invisible to the scanner - but are used because then us humans will tend to write neater and clearer which make sit easier to recognize with a computer.  Any characters with less than X% accuracy based on a recognition engine are flagged and shown as an image zoomed into the particular character so a human operator can then say "that is an "A".   This way, you can rapidly go through most forms and output it to say - an SQL database, complete with link to original image of the form you filled in.If you see "black boxes" at three corners of the document - it is likely set up for scanning (they help to identify and orient the page digitally).  If there is a unique barcode on the document somewhere I would theorize there is an even higher likelihood of it being scanned - the document is of enough value to be printed individually which costs more, which means it is likely going to be used on the capture side.   (I've noticed in the past in Bahamas and some other Caribbean islands they use these sorts of capture mechanisms, but they have far fewer people entering than the US does everyday)The real answer is: it depends.  Depending on each country and its policies and procedures.  Generally I would be surprised if they scanned and held onto the paper.   In the US, they proably file those for a set period of time then destroy them, perhaps mining them for some data about travellers. In the end,  I suspect the "paper-to-data capture" likelihood of customs forms ranges somewhere on a spectrum like this:Third world Customs Guy has paper to show he did his job, paper gets thrown out at end of shift. ------>  We keep all the papers! everything is scanned as you pass by customs and unique barcodes identify which flight/gate/area the form was handed out at, so we co-ordinate with cameras in the airport and have captured your image.  We also know exactly how much vodka you brought into the country. :)

You don’t really need a lawyer for this. Google the county you live in and family court. Go on their web site. They will have a legal help clinic that you can go to.The clinic will give you the form that you need to fill out, or you may be able to print it from the web site. It’s called uniform declaration of parentage, or something like that. Since you are not married, you will need proof that the father is actually the father. Just the birth certificate is not enough for this. If he agrees that he’s the father, that’s all that is needed. If not, you will probably need a paternity test.Follow the instructions and fill out the form completely. Submit it along with the supporting documentation to the county clerk’s office. You will need to pay a fee that is about $100. If you can’t afford the fee, there’s another form you need to fill out for a fee waiver.Make copies as instructed by the form. Use a process server to serve the papers on the father. That costs about $50. If you are low income, the sheriff’s office will often serve the papers for free, but they’re not as fast.When you fill out the form, ask for guideline child support. They will ask for supporting documentation from you as well as from the father. He will also have to fill out a form for determining income.The other variable that goes into computing child support is custodial time. You both need to agree on how much custodial time you each want with the child. As long as you both agree, you can split it up however you want. If not, the court will usually assign 50% to each parent.Once you file the papers, you will be given a court date. If you disagree on custody time and child support, you may be sent to see a mediator before going to court. If you agree, then you both just stand in front of the judge and the judge will order custody and child support as stated on the forms.
