I received an email from the US Army that directly answers your question that is pasted below please keep reading.I believe you are the victim of a military Romance Scam whereas the person you are talking to is a foreign national posing as an American Soldier claiming to be stationed overseas on a peacekeeping mission. Often times they delete the site you met them on right after they asked you to move to a more private messaging siteProfesses love to you very quickly & seems to quote poems and song lyrics along with using their own sort of broken language, as they profess their love and devotion quickly. They also showed concern for your health and love for your family.Promises marriage as soon as he/she gets to state for leave that they asked you to pay for.They Requests money (wire transfers) and Amazon, iTune ,Verizon, etc gift cards, for medicine, religious practices, and leaves to come home, internet access, complete job assignments, help sick friend, get him out of trouble, or anything that sounds fishy.The military does provide all the soldier needs including food medical Care and transportation for leave. Trust me, I lived it, you are probably being scammed. I am just trying to show you examples that you are most likely being connned.Below is an email response I received after I sent an inquiry to the US government when I discovered I was scammed. Goals are intimidating.We set them all the time but have trouble following through.If you suffer from lack of focus and consistency toward your goals, you aren’t alone. I know MANY people who feel the same.While I’m normally a very disciplined person, I was recently having trouble sticking to goals.I’d set big goals and be super motivated to signNow them…at first.But after the first week, I would fall off and end up ditching the goal, feeling like a failure.The reason that I let myself fall off my goals so easily was that I had no tangible reason to keep me committed to it.I could easily give up on the goal and there would be no negative effects.However, I recently gave myself a new goal and took a very different approach to it.My goal was to write 1 Quora answer a day for 66 days and signNow 1 million views.By day 55 I already hit my goal and by day 66 I blew way past my expectations.The reason I achieved this goal was twofold.First, I gave myself a challenge.I printed out a 66-Day Challenge tracker that required me to put an ‘X’ on the tracker each day that I wrote a Quora answer.(the red box was 1 million views!)The only goal was to keep the X’s going and never have a blank day.And it worked!Something about seeing that tracker slowly fill up got me excited to keep working hard on both the good days and the bad days —and there were plenty bad days.There were many days where I just didn’t feel like writing. But when I looked up at that tracker, the last thing I wanted was a big blank spot on a day that I skipped.This motivated me to stay committed to my goal of writing daily.The other reason I accomplished my goal was accountability.When I decided to shoot for 66 days of straight writing, I made it public.I posted my goal online on social media in order to have other people keep me accountable.This also worked!Since I knew people would be asking me how it was going, I knew I had to stay committed, or else I would be very embarrassed.After accomplishing this goal, my friends started asking if they could get a tracker like mine.I knew that these friends were beginners when it came to habits and goals, so I went home and made my own 30-Day Tracker that would be less intimidating for them than starting off with 66 days.And they loved it! More and more friends continue to ask me to send them this tracker.This proved that it wasn't just something about me that made the tracker work, others liked it too!I even got my dad using the tracker to get him in the habit of doing pushups daily.He hasn’t exercised in years and it made me nervous because I want him to stay healthy. So I challenged my dad to doing 30 days of pushups straight.He was skeptical at first, but when I showed him the tracker he got very excited at the idea of being able to check off days he completes.I taped his tracker to the fridge so he would see it every time he went to get a snack.He is now on day 7 without missing any days!So, if you are looking to stay consistent on a goal, find a way to track your progress.It can be from the tracker I mentioned above, a personal calendar, a whiteboard, or even just a journal you keep.Put your tracking method somewhere you will see it daily so that you won’t forget about it.In addition, make your goal public. Tell your spouse, family, or friends and ask them to help keep you accountable.With these two methods, you’ll have everything you need to start crushing your goals!Side note: I had an interesting idea. Would anyone benefit from having a public group online for everyone’s 30-Day Challenges?It could be a Facebook group where everyone posts pictures of their trackers as they go and helps keep each other motivated. I was selected for a summer internship 2016.I tried to be very open while filling the preference form: I choose many products as my favorite products and I said I'm open about the team I want to join.I even was very open in the  location and start date to get host matching interviews (I negotiated the start date in the interview until both me and my host were happy.) You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience).Do a search on the potential team.Before the interviews,  try to find smart question that you are going to ask for the potential host (do a search on the team  to find nice and deep questions to impress your host). Prepare well your resume.You are very likely not going to get algorithm/data structure questions like in the first round. It's going to be just some friendly chat if you are lucky. If your potential team is working on something like machine learning, expect that  they are going to ask you questions about machine learning, courses related to machine learning you have and relevant experience (projects, internship). Of course you have to study that before the interview. Take as long time as you need if you feel rusty. It takes some time to get ready for the host matching (it's less than the technical interview)  but it's worth it of course.

Focus on habits, not goalsIt seems counterintuitive that you shouldn't focus on goals, but hear me out -- it's all about leverage. Anyone who works with me knows that I dweebishly reference the R'as Al Ghul scene in Batman Begins pretty much 3-4 times a day:Our investors at Bloc are getting tired of board meetings starting with Batman clips.R'as tells Bruce: "Rub your chest, your arms will take care of themselves."If you focus on building the habit of programming for 20-30 hours a week, you will signNow your goal of being a web developer. If you focus on the goal of being a web developer in X months, you get nothing from that but stress and insecurity about how far along you are. Focus on the habit, not the goal. Rub your chest, your arms will take care of themselves.So here's what you should do right now: put 15 minutes a day on your calendar to spend time programming. Don't do more than 15, just focus on doing 15 minutes a day. If you can do it successfully with no excuses for a week, try bumping it up to 20 minutes a day. Don't try to overextend yourself by doing an hour a day right off the bat, this is going to be a 10,000 hour marathon so we're focusing on developing the habit right now. The number of minutes you put in isn't as important as you showing up each day.2. Learning alone is painfulWhen I was learning web development, the two biggest social components to my learning were having a mentor and belonging to a community.Having a mentorI worked at a small startup called merge.fm while in college. I learned more in the summer I spent working with one of their cofounders than I did in the entire previous year at my university. There's just something about working alongside an expert who knows more than you that really accelerates your learning, you're able to pick up on how they think and unveil what you don't know you don't know. There's a reason why mentorship used to be the de facto standard of learning a new trade, it's very effective.Belonging to a communityFor me, the two communities I belonged to were the Illini Entrepreneurship Network (a student organization at my university) and HackerNews (a large hacker/startup oriented online community).I didn't learn what objects and classes were from HackerNews, but I learned a different category of things. I learned that nobody likes Javascript. I learned that Rubyists are the hipsters of programming. I learned that Bret Taylor, Rich Hickey, and John Carmack are programming gods, and that software companies that are truly serious about coffee have kitchens that look like labs.In short, I learned how to talk shop. That turns out to be important when you're working with other developers, but it's also the thing that makes you feel like a developer.3. All you have to do is focus on showing up, for 10-30 hours a week. Be as mindless as a cockroach about everything else, and don't "die."I made the statement years ago which is often quoted that 80 percent of life is showing up. People used to always say to me that they wanted to write a play, they wanted to write a movie, they wanted to write a novel, and the couple of people that did it were 80 percent of the way to having something happen. All the other people struck out without ever getting that pack.
