hi my name is janelle farias and i'm a therapist in san diego i enjoy working with adults adolescents and children i particularly enjoy working with the lgbt qia population and postpartum population my expertise include anxiety depression obsessive compulsive disorder and eating disorders i enjoy working with all individuals across a lifespan especially when they're going through a stressful situation i'm aware of the time and energy involved when deciding to seek help i like paying special attention to what clients desire to achieve then help them focus on accomplishing their goals by practicing mindfulness i explain to each client that mindfulness is the practice of applying their full focus and being aware and accepting of their feelings and emotions my goal is to then aid clients in understanding and mastering the skill of mindfulness then clients can use this tool in recognizing and controlling their emotions during challenging times my practice philosophy is driven by the bully t
