Out of the major cities in the United States of America, which city is the best to live in, New York City or San Francisco?I live in NYC - I’ve only visited SF, and my best friend lived there in the 80s, so I’m no expert on it. They have similarities in expense, in the influence of money, in nearness to water and parks.NYC still has SF beat culturally by shear numbers of museums, theaters, etc., but what SF has is quite good. They both have issues if you want to commute by bike - SF’s steep hills and NYC’s crazy traffic - but both have pretty areas for recreational biking. Both have drawbacks for getting around if you’re disabled. Both have great restaurants. You probably have better housing resources with commuting in NYC’s boroughs than you would in SF. With more public transportation, you can live further out or even in Jersey and still commute to NYC. Both places have big housing issues, but Tech has taken up so much housing in SF and I’m not sure there are nearby solutions that are easily commutable. The weather differences are personal choices. I actually enjoy the very distinct seasons that NYC offers. You do not need to own a car in NYC. You may be better off owning one in SF, but parking is a bitch. If you have enough money that you can live in town, then it mostly boils down to weather, the areas where you’d prefer to take day trips/drives, and what industry you want to work in. NYC is the hub for finance and most of the Arts, but we’re just getting going with tech jobs. SF is established for tech; it has a great Arts community but making a living in it doesn’t seem really feasible any more.
How's San Francisco’s lifestyle? What about it's quality of life compared to other major cities like London, NY, Paris, or Tokyo?I have lived in London, Paris and now I live in New York and San Francisco. Paris is like San Francisco and Paris like California is a Green State of mind, a country with huge mountains, oceans and an incredible lifestyle. San Francisco is a beautiful city, with it now being Silcone Valley and with Oakland, the west coast Harlem and California’s mountains, beaches, nature, Frisco is a joy to live in also. Its expensive but nothing like London or New York. London is beautiful if you have lots of money. Its tragically expensive the only difference is we British are a socialist capitalist country so you have free medical and life does not always exist about making it or money! Now… New York the big apple. Anyone who says this is the greatest city in the world has NEVER been to other cities. It is a city of unbridled inequality, cruelty, the greatest homeless population in the country, and, it will NEVER be green it is too polluted and nature is devoured by the millions that live for hundreds of miles surrounding New York. It is good for business if you come already as someone with power and I did. If you come here to make it you will be crushed.
Is there a way to figure out how many restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area have wine lists of 30 or more wines?I'm not sure that type of data has been collected. Short of a detailed and time intensive online search where you could attempt count, you could use the Wine Spectator award list as a lower bound. It's probably safe to assume that awarded restaurants have at least 30 wines. From there you could make some assumptions to get at a reasonable estimate.
Would change in home address after filling the form of SBI or any other exams turn out to be something wrong? No it won't be a problem if you have proper justification for that, they are supportive in these things if you have relevant documents for proof.
If a piece of classical music is transcribed from a major key to a minor key, or the other way around (if that's possible), how would it change to the human ear?It would change the whole "feel" of the piece. A piece changed fro minor to major will most likely go from sounding sad to sounding happy and the other way from Major to minor. The key the composer chooses to write in is not accidental. It's chosen for a reason.
Can I just start using my middle name instead of my first name in western Australia? Or do I need to legally change them around and fill out forms. You can just tell people that your middle name is your name and go with that. soon everyone will call you that name. Officially on all the government registers you will be named your first name, but people will still you by the name you tell them. You can change your name officially, but it is not necessary unless you care about government officers calling you by that name.As for signatures… it does not matter. As long as your signature is similar each time, it can be an x for all the government cares.
