They would either sell to me or they wouldn’t. While I was secretly hoping to make the buy, I would act as if I couldn't care less if I made the deal or not. That was key, never push or act like you care a lot about the deal. Only cops are anxious.If they asked too many questions or wanted me to prove I wasn’t a cop, I’d ask why they would bring up cops, and ask if they were setting me up. I never forced a deal or even came close to doing drugs to make a case.The closest I came was one case I worked for about four months. I would make buys a couple of times a week and would go over to their home and sit and play Nintendo until the product arrived.Sometimes I’d drop by and bring beer and play Nintendo when I wasn’t there to make a buy. Just to hang out and get in good with the crew. I’m not even sure I believe the term empath, especially since there are a lot of people who identify with it, as well as the true definition of an empath is along the same terms as a psychic. Regardless if a person believes in psychic ability or not, I believe the rate of narcissistic tendencies, if not full blown npd, is climbing in our culture exponentially. Therefore on the spectrum and within the realm of self realization, we needed a word that describes the opposite. The term empath took that role because people read about how empaths are empathetic, they wear out when they are in public easily and they can read a room or a person very well. These descriptions are so generalized and can account for many, many people’s prospective of them, the population is running with it. Empathy is a learned skill. Some people are naturally more inclined to it. Being worn out can be because you’re an introvert. So many things can account for the generalization of the term empath.A relationship with a narcissist or a person who has narcissistic tendencies can be described by many dynamics in psychology. Narcissist and codependent or a push-pull dynamic are common. But people are gravitating towards narc-empath. Could it be because labeling yourself an empath makes you the “good guy” in the situation? The more loving, caring victim? Possibly. You just took an absolutely soul beating from someone, you need a pick-me-up and in your searching for answers you stumbled upon something that fits and works. The problem is people stop looking and researching when they found something that does.Relationships with narcissists or people with narcissistic tendencies/traits are not healthy relationships. Even if you are not a codependent person, you may have been fooled. No one is an excellent judge of character in this world. You cannot tell who the person is in front of you until you’ve spent a substantial amount of time with them to see how they behave in different scenarios. We are an ever-behaviorally-evolving species, so when you think you know someone, they throw a curve ball. It’s absolutely imperative that while dating or in our everyday relationships we take it upon ourselves to play detective and ask a ton of questions to those who are going to be allowed into our closest circles. That way you have a basis to go off of with how this person sees themselves and how that image lines up with how they actually are. GOOD judgement is important. Authenticity is so so important. Because you are authentic, because you have a big heart, and because you care for people, you need to protect your heart. You don’t need a word to label you. Labels are pointless. If you are identifying with the term empath, then you are claiming to have certain characteristics (CHARACTER) which is way, way more important than a label.
