[Music] I think Olin defines being an engineer very broadly I think we all agree that it means in addition to having technical skills being innovative putting your work into context and considering how you can contribute to the good of the world we lead first with offering a superb technical education but where other definitions might in there are just beginners we really require and expect that students will learn arts humanities Social Sciences design and entrepreneurship these elements provide the context for their technical skill when I think about the kind of engineering we do at Olin it's like hands-on is the first thing that comes to mind because it's all real-world it's all applicable and it's all relevant to the world right now my favorite class at Olin has been user oriented collaborative design because I loved going out into the world and getting to learn about all these different people and I really loved that the designs we were doing were designed with and for those peopl
