with amazon relay it is very simple and it is very quick let's go to the video and i'm going to show you right now five minutes done okay here we are in the uh amazon relay site what you need to do is go to relay.amazon.com now once you get there here is the website it brings you to a home screen a splash screen this is the get started button here we're going to get back to that in just a moment and if you scroll down it tells you why partner with them it talks about some information for carriers it's going to go into some information for drivers and the benefits they've got some blogs and some frequently asked questions down below our concern is signing on hit the get started button it's just that simple get started there's also get started here and then once you we did click that right internet's a little slow okay so here we are on the uh get started page and um please take a look at these requirements here um the most important being that your insurance has to be in place okay commercial general liability these are your coverages auto liability coverages cargo coverage of at least a hundred thousand workers compensation in all jurisdictions where your company operates if you operate out of one state normally if you're a sole proprietor or you have a single member llc you are exempt from workers compensation and amazon understands that and will give you a waiver it is up to you please don't ask me because i'd only know about utah and california where you do not need workers compensation to work for amazon any other states you guys are on your own to google your secretary of state in your state or what wherever uh wherever google says to go to to find out if you need workers compensation for your type of business okay and then employer liability not less than 100 000 per occurrence all right you have to have these otherwise you are going to get denied and once you get denied it is very hard to get a second look at because there's just simply too many carriers um applying okay and getting approved first time so um please have everything right here in order for instance your safety rating it either needs to be satisfactory or you don't have a safety rating or you're not rated okay if it's conditional unsatisfactory they're not going to accept you okay go down to the bottom here well you can create an amazon account all right and what's going to happen is is you'll sign in well you'll if you need to create an account hit the you know create account i already have an account so i don't need to create one okay use an email address that is not associated with any other amazon account you may have for instance your uh the the account that you have that you you purchase items from or any other account the amazon has like affiliate accounts um they all need separate email addresses so make sure this is a separate email address from all of your other um amazon accounts and you have to be signed out of them when you go to relay because if you go to relay.amazon.com and you try to sign up for relay and you're signed into your account that where you go to purchase items from then you're not going to get to the relay account okay so that's why you need a clean email address that is not associated with amazon all right sign in and this is how easy it is guys this is it so what you do and i can't do it and i'm going to show you why in a minute the first thing you do is you put in your dot number here and your mc number here okay once you put those numbers in you're going to hit continue if everything looks okay here because they're right then and they're going to go into your fmcsa record and they're going to see what's going on do you have active authority all right they're also going to check to see if you uh have active insurance on file at that time all right if you can't get past here if they don't like what they see here you're not gonna get this button to continue all right if you can get this far then you should be in like flynn okay so put this information in click continue hopefully it'll light up for you okay um click continue and then you go into company details now here's the thing if i try to put in my company details before i do this see what happens down here i get this you can't quite see it the screen's cutting it off but down here i get this uh error message it says previous sections are not filled in so it won't let you go any further so each section that you fill out it will look at it it will see what's going on and if it likes it then you hit the continue button if it likes this you hit the continue button if it likes this you hit the continue button especially if it gets down to here i think this is where you upload a copy of your coi um because they're already checking when they do this whether or not you have um the correct insurance um and then uh you know what i don't know what payment is i apologize i and i can't i can't tell because it says previous sections are incomplete but this is it this is how simple it is to apply and you're done submit application that's it that's that it's easy okay um did you get value do you know how to apply for relay now give me
