What the Amerigroup Business Document Is

Amerigroup Business Document is a standardized corporate form used by Amerigroup-affiliated entities and their partners to record transactions, provider agreements, and administrative notices. It combines identifiable parties, effective dates, scope of services or goods, payment terms, and signature blocks into a single document suitable for electronic or paper execution. The form is intended to support consistent recordkeeping across contracting, claims administration, and provider onboarding while meeting U.S. electronic-signature legal frameworks where permitted. Where e-signatures are used, compliance with the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. §7001) and state UETA provisions governs enforceability and consent.

Why a Standardized Amerigroup Business Document Matters

Use the Amerigroup Business Document to standardize contract terms, reduce processing errors, and create a single auditable record that supports compliance. It streamlines approvals and clarifies responsibilities while allowing electronic execution consistent with ESIGN and applicable state rules.
